GE 1.6CF Over-the-Range Microwave

Best Buy was the only place to have it available quickly. Their online ordering and local pickup was simple, they even helped load it into my vehicle. The microwave has performed flawlessly for over two years now. Highly recommend.

GE - Over-the-Range Microwave Stainless Steel

Was replacing another brand of microwave and wanted a GE stainless steel microwave to go with my other GE appliances and had certain dimensions to fill the opening of my old microwave and this microwave filled the spot perfectly. Works great and love the clean look of the stainless steel outside.

But as it was old and looked built in. This one is so close to being the identical one, so many years later and I am loving it. It has the features I got used to and a couple of welcome upgrades in a couple. Great product

Some problem with the door - slightly out of alignment, which might be due to installer - me. Which leads me to the biggest problem - despite two attempts to arrange installation through Best Buy - on the website during purchase, and call to the store after purchase - I got no response. You lose installation fee Best Buy - which was quoted as $140.

Bisque, perfect match with other ivory appliances

However, the touch screen requires an unusually firm press, sometimes needing to be repeated, & causing me to wonder if this won't limit the longevity, as well as the door handle requiring a strong pull to open as opposed to a release button under the handle as I am accustomed to.

My appliance professional and my handyman told me to get GE or Whirlpool appliances only. This microwave looks nice, works well, and was an incredible value. It doesn’t have a ton of bells and whistles but I didn’t need anything super fancy that I’d never use. I would go back and make this purchase again and again. Very happy especially for the price just over $200

As well as freeing up kitchen counter space this Microwave replaced the kitchen ventilator fan, now it really gets rid of kitchen odors rather than spreading them around! The GE over range micowave has been reliable, and easy to use, as well as being inexpensive.
