Just picked up our new microwave this week. We really missed our old one when it finally went kaput after 17 years. Yes, like many we had to wait on delivery to the store for pick up. We believe it was worth the wait! The controls are easy to use and makes kitchen duties much more pleasant.

The Microwave works just fine and meets our needs. I was disappointed to find out that the new microwave didn't work with the previous GE microwave bracket and that the fastening holes in the top of the microwave were also different than the previous one, as this created a bit more work. That's more of a comment on GE than Best Buy.

Good for the price, the only negative I have found so far is how loud Fan when you put something to heat, but it's OK with me I use it a few times a day for 1-3min. max

My previous GE MW died due to touch panel failure after 5 years of use. This one has a panel with buttons more difficult to push. Hopefully this one would last longer. After 1 month of usage works fine, low vent is more quiet than was before. Colon sign on the display is brighter than the digits. Not a big deal.

works great, has good control of power settings and keypad easy to use and understand. Good stainless steel finish super easy for food reheats and boiling water, also has effective defrost control, doesn't overheat or cook the food being defrosted. It was easy to install, replacing a 10 yo GE microwave

Reliable but hard to clean. Some buttons are hard to see. Light over range has two settings, which is nice. Pretty good overall.

Nothing super special here. Standard size on the outside of the unit, smaller than I was expecting on the inside, but it fits all the regular size players and bowls that we use.

This microwave has been outstanding and has performed well.

This is our third GE over the range microwave in 10 years. I think dying in 5 years isnt great but that seems like industy standard. This one feels a lot more cheaply made then the one we got 5 years ago. The inside is smaller so i had to buy new dinner plates. This model my squarw 14 inch plates get stuck and won't turn. I really wish GE would use the same holes and wall mounting brackets between models. We have to drill in the cabinet every time.

Great microwave for the price, however has a flaw. I’m on my 3rd one in 10 years. Over time, twice now, a lever/switch inside the locking mechanism on the door begins to move and shorts out the microwave. It’s a known problem through GE.

Does what I need and feet in the space where it needed to.

This unit was a replacement to a previous one that lasted over a decade, and was still running perfectly fine. Great refesh.

Best replacement microwave to my aged 10 year old builder installed GE product. Less finger print smudges over the stainless steel surfaces and the color matches perfectly with the other SS appliances in my kitchen. It being new, heats up things faster too.
