Good Replacement

The door on my last one was only as big as the space inside for cooking, not as big as the entire unit. I feel like the handle is not going to hold up strong enough over the years.

We recommend disconnecting the microwave from power for a couple of minutes before reconnecting, to reset it. Information about what to try when the microwave is running but not heating is available in an article on our GE Appliances website titled "Microwave - Runs But Does Not Heat"; that can be viewed when you look up the title and click the 'Support' tab. Troubleshooting is also available on page 18 of the manual, which can be viewed on our GE Appliances website when you look up the model number, go to the product's page and view the 'Owner Support' section. If you aren't able to solve the issue with troubleshooting, our Bodewell service team is available at 1-833-426-3393, Monday – Friday, 8AM – 8PM ET. A technician would be glad to examine the microwave for any issues.

Couple of "old" features missing, however - no AM/PM or "delay cooking" feature, also does not work if food is placed in microwave too soon before turning on.

ItWork great for the first year and a half. Then it just started to go on the fritz and kick the breaker. Then It just sparked and died. Unfortunately these are so cheap according to the repair people that it cost as much to have a repair guy to come out as it is to buy a new unit. We opted to buy The exact same unit as it’s easy to pop out and have not have to totally re-install a bracket tree or etc. We took out the five year service deal just in case. Unfortunately these days that’s what you have to do.

So far so good. Has all the standard features and cooking options. Stainless steel cleans very nicely.

He gave me a very different price for installation than what I was told when I called to schedule the installation. I did not have the item delivered to save on the delivery fee, but then found out even though I didn't have it delivered, if I wanted it installed, I still have to pay the delivery fee. This was not told to me when I purchased the item. So, I decided to bit the bullet and go ahead and pay the fee, but then I was told I would not know the delivery day until the day before the delivery, and I would not be told the time window of the delivery until the day of the delivery. With my job, that was not possible, so I returned the item and purchased it elsewhere where I was able to schedule the delivery (no charge) and installation well in advance. Because I returned the item, I cannot comment on the performance of the item. I'll review the microwave on the site of the place I purchased it from.
