    After 16 months it has started popping the breaker. Looked at Consumer Reports and this is a very common issue (ranked 1.7 out of 5). If you are a do it yourself person it may be fine to take it down and replace the fuse. Most of us don't want the hassle.

    I thought GE was great brand. This microwave just died and it isn't even 2 years old. My old Panasonic microwave lasted 22 years before it died. They just don't make things like they used to. Very disappointed.

    We have this microwave for just about 3 years and it is now constantly tripping the circuit breaker. It is on a dedicated circuit so apparently the microwave is faulty. Should have lasted longer than 3 yrs.

    This microwave is not even 2 yrs old and just stopped working altogether. No power to anything in the unit do trust what consumer reports says about this product. 2 years and it’s totally dead

    Had it for just over a year, and it blew out on me. GE would not extend warranty for that little time. Will never purchase another GE item for life..

    Microwave just stopped working sfter 2 months - then ontol of that GE Service is terrible and couldnt figure our what was wrong. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY

    Purchased January 2018. Quit working this week Feb 10. Previous GE purchased Nov 2017. Quit working in a yr. Both out of 1 yr warranty. Changing brand.

      Hello. We appreciate you reporting this to us – we sincerely hate to hear your microwave isn’t heating. We know how frustrating that would be, especially when you’ve only had the unit such a short time. This isn’t the experience we want for you, and we’d like to assist. You may want to make sure the door is able to close securely and nothing is blocking it at all, so the safety mechanisms can engage. Unplugging the microwave for a couple minutes before reconnecting to power may help, as this resets the electrical components. If the Timer function is in use, clearing that can help. We hope those tips are useful, and additional troubleshooting information is available on page 18 of the manual (which can be viewed on our GE website when you look up the model number and go to the product page). Warranty information is also available on page 20 of the manual. If you are not able to resolve this issue, our Service Department is available at 1-800-432-2737. We don’t recommend trying to repair the microwave yourself, because of the internal high voltage capacity and for safety reasons. A technician would be able to diagnose and repair the issue.     This is first Samsung product and the last. Had this for 2 months. Does not heat consistently-sometimes still cold. Shuts itself off for 30 to 60 minutes at at time. Blank screen??? Later it is back on. Was told at BB to call Samsung. Sorry pulling it out sending it to the dump and buying a new one. Not a Samsung and not at Best Buy. I am probably done with Best Buy no customer service follow through
