This microwave fit my space perfectly, has the right amount of features. I actually prefer it to the one it replced

Positives - actual microwaving is quiet, performs as you'd expect Negative (only negative and reason it doesn't receive 5 stars) - the door is loud when you open and close it. Even if you try to open or close it very slow and carefully, it's still loud (especially closing). The door lifts up slightly when you close it, so it makes me wonder if it's slightly off to begin with. It's interesting, because the actual microwaving is very quiet compared to our former microwave, yet the door is much louder.

Installed easily and working well. Helpful folks at Best Buy.

We like the ease of use, and the non-obnoxious tone of the beep/chime when your food is done. Instructions to install were detailed, somewhat easy to use for installing this microwave as a replacement to our old one.

I Purchased this over the stove microwave when it was on sale. Good price, Perfect fit and it works well. I am pleased with it. I really like the light underneath the microwave too. Hopefully, it will last a long time. :)

The MW looks perfect with all of my other GE appliances. It is easy to use with just the right amount of features.

I like the look of this microwave. It works grwat and has the convenience buttons that i like. When you open and clise the door it feels a little weak, but works well.

I've had this a bit over a month now and it seems to work just fine, better than fine. This unit replaced a similar model that was over a decade old and had finally given out. Based on some earlier reviews, I was a little concerned with noise while it cooked, but in truth, this unit is quieter than my previous model. It does seem like some of the construction (read Plastic) seems somewhat less substantial than my older model, but I haven't had an issue, and I am a bit more gentle when closing the door. Other than that (and I suspect that would be true of any model and brand in this price range) it more than meets expectations and has all the features I hoped for in this price range. I would get it again.

Great microwave! Our last GE worked great for years, until it finally died. Researched this Microwave and works Great...with more features than our last one.

Bought to replace 11 yr. old unit that died...same make, different hardware, but not that hard to install...works fine...another 11 yrs or more? Who knows.....

Exactly what you think it is. Good size for a family of four and easy to use. My only complaint was the install. Couldn’t use my 10 year old bracket for a very similar old GE unit.

This replaced a 1.7 over the range GE I've had for more than 10 years. It looked pretty much the same but does a much better job at cooking. Perhaps the most appreciated characteristic is it is so, so much quieter than the old unit. Being in the next room watching tv you need the bell going off to know it's done. This could have been a 5 star review but mounting this new unit required all new brackets (provided) and drilling of new mounting holes. A hassle if ever there was one. As nearly all over the range microwaves are made to fit in the same mounting cavity couldn't the manufacturers standardize the mounting requirements to facilitate replacing units?

Easy to install. Replaced an older microwave that had a broken door. It fit with easy modifications to the existing mounting holes.

Needed a replacement for another over the range microwave. Went into the store the sales representative suggested this GE. Was easy to install and use. The unit is overall fairly quiet compare to my previous device.

Much more quiet than our old microwave. Both cooking and fan. Easy enough to install. One of the slots for the screws going down from the cabinet was broken, but we were able to fix it and make it work.
