You can’t go wrong going with a quality name brand like G.E. And this microwave was no exception after reading great reviews about I purchased this item and haven’t been disappointed. Multiple features and an easy install along with an affordable price made this a no brainer

Amazing microwave. I had a previous version that was good for 17 years. Had to buy this one and it fit perfectly in the same space.

This was a replacement for the same microwave model so I could use the old outlet, wall mount. New unit worked perfectly. Since we had a large group of company coming the next day, I needed to replace within 24 hrs. Ordering, pickup at warehouse went very smoothly.

We've only had it about a month, but so far so good. Seems to work well and preset times are good. My previous microwave had a see through door...this is not, and this is the only things I miss.

The GE brand microwave is the best appliance brand on the market and price is very reasonable

I bought this microwave to replace an old GE one. Since my purchase on June 2023 it is working great.

Fairly easy to install, so far so good on performance. No frills microwave but definitely gets the job done. Fan is reasonably quiet.

Nice microwave to mount above our stove. It gives you the option of having an indoor vent, outside and changing it from one to the other is pretty simple. I bought this as a replacement for our 16 year old microwave that stopped working. I tried to buy one that was the same brand and same dimensions as the old so I wouldn’t have to redrill holes. While most of this one fit the old model screw holes, there was one are that didn’t line up. However the bracket still worked so it was it a difficult transition.

I love it,, fits perfectly underneath the cabinet.

A basic microwave. Easy to open and close one handed. Has common convenience cooking buttons such as popcorn and reheat. Good power level as it cooks in allotted time recommendations of frozen items. Has rotating turntable with ability to turn it off.

The microwave was exactly as advertised, and fortunately fit directly in the same bracket and opening as the old microwave. It is intuitive and easy to use. I would highly recommend this.

This is the basic version OVR microwave in GE microwave products. I highly recommend you get it if you only want an affordable option. Also, the color of the microwave is actually a little darker than the picture portrayed.

Just a couple days using it. A longer time is when problems usually start. We'll see what happens later In general its looking and working good.

Good microwave. 1000 watt cooks/warms as quickly as the GE 1700 watt it replaced. Nice suprise. Only reason we replaced it is because door switch failed a second time.

I installed this unit to replace an existing GE microwave that failed after many years.  This matches our other GE appliances and is a brand we trust.  I had just a few issues with this model. 1 - I was replacing a very similar GE microwave, yet GE insists on changing the mounting bracket and the location of the overhead mounting screws, requiring a much more labor-intensive installation.  Instead of being a 15 minute swap out, I had to remove the existing bracket and install the new bracket, drilling additional holes in the wall, and new holes had to be drilled in the overhead cabinet to accommodate the mounting screws, leaving the old holes in the cabinet.  I don't understand why GE makes it so complicated to replace an existing GE microwave. 2 - The buttons on the control panel seem to be a little harder to "push" than our previous model.  The old control panel required just a touch of the buttons, but these actually require a little push.3 - The location of the 30 second button is awkward, in the middle of the other command buttons.  The 30 second button is the most used button and should be located at the bottom of the control panel where it is easy to find! 4 - The time display is white and the time display on our matching stove is green.  Not a big deal, but when you walk into the kitchen at night, it looks strange. Otherwise, this is a good microwave.

The microwave I ordered JVM3160DFWW was correct on the box, The actual microwave was JVM3160DF9WW. The 9 obviously makes the microwave cheaper as it only has one surface light and the display had 2.
