We are super happy with this microwave. We installed it ourselves, and it was moderately difficult. The hardest part was marking the drill holes with the template. I had to cut the edges off the template to make it more accurate lining it up against the bottom of the cabinet to drill holes. We also had to take out the fan unit and put it back into the cabinet facing forward to vent it forward through the carbon filter. It comes in the box ready for venting up into a duct, but we don't have a duct. It was really hard to remove the plastic piece at the front and install the carbon filter. I can't imagine how I'll do that again to replace the filter with it up on the wall. Otherwise it works great and looks really good.

This GE-1.6 Cu, Ft Microwave is a great replacement, easy to navigate with great auto functions for cooking and ease to use. Best Buy installation was terrific!

This was easy to install. It works well, but it could use backlit number display (hard to use when the lights are off in the kitchen.

So far so good. Had it several months and I like the look and it seems to work great. I love the preprogrammed setting. It was ready to go. Got a great deal so I’m very happy

I had one just like this for about 15 years, but it recently quit working (it was used quite hard and I was happy with its longevity). I'm quite happy with the new one. It is quieter while cooking and the vent fan is much improved noise wise . Easy to install too.

I installed this microwave to replace a worn out old GE microwave. The old microwave lasted 13 years, I hope this new microwave last that long. It was easy to replace the old microwave and install this new microwave.

The microwave is wonderful. I would recommend to my friends & family.

Love this microwave BUT we bought it again because the first one (Same exact model) kept popping the fuse when you opened the door. Was only 4 years old- bought the same one because the mounting brackets will-of course- be exactly the same so much easier to mount. Everything else on this microwave has been great! Really love the feature of hitting the # and it begins cooking for that length of time - no need to hit Start!

GE - 1.6 Cu. Ft. Over-the-Range Microwave - Stainless Steel works great, profile is small but of good size, vent vacuum and lighting options work great. Food does not get overheated like other microwaves I've used in the past. Definitely recommend this product.

It does a good job. It works well . It was a good price.

it is powerful and quite convenient. The letters and numbers in the right-hand panel are small and dim. Hard to read.

This is a good mid-priced microwave. It was easy to install and so intuitive to use that I did not need instructions for the keypad choices. The over the stove light is very good, and the two speed fan works well. Only compliant is that is is noisy.

I am very happy with this microwave so far. It looks great and seems to working fine. I did have to order the separate charcoal filters through GE that I think should have been included.

I had to replace my Microwave and saw this one on sale. It was in stock which was a plus. Everything went well during install and it is very easy to use.

Nice looking microwave. The holes for the microwave were just a tad bit off from the holes drilled for our previous GE which was annoying when installing. Otherwise nice product.

Works well. The button layout is good except for the fan and light buttons being on the right side instead of closer to the bottom for easier access since the keypad is not backlit. Previous microwave was from GE and was purchased new in 2013. Hopefully this one lasts awhile. The inside of the microwave is white which will make you clean it often as it's easier to see when dirty. The stainless steel feels of good quality and should hold up over time and not scratch easily. Bought this on sale as for some reason over the range microwaves are expensive.

Good microwave. Purchased as a direct replacement for my old one. The old one lasted 6 years. Not sure if that’s good or not in microwave years but for the price I’m happy.
