We replaced an HotPoint microwave with this GE model and very impressed. Installation was easy and the controls are self explanatory. It is well worth the money.

It can keep the timer going while heating something - a key feature we wanted. However, the turntable jerks like the motor is severely undersized. I wonder how long this will work until the motor fails or the shaft snaps from the jerking. This is the reason for the reduced stars. Mounting was straightforward enough. The fan is on anytime it is heating. The clock lights are bright, in the blue range - a poor color temperature for sleep if you walk by it at night.

Works well. easy pick up and installation. No hesitation to recommend this microwave

I have been aware of GE Over Range Microwaves for many years. They are dependable and easy to use and out of the way. Clears up a lot of Counter space. One thing that I would like to see in the newer GE Microwaves is to have a beeper Mute button.

For the price i got a good deal.I like ge appliances still pretty good products.

It's nice. It has most of the features I wanted but missed a few. The door, at times, doesn't close all the way. But I would repurchase it if I had to.

World like it should. Good value. I do have to press the buttons a little harder than I did with my last microwave. No big deal but I figure it's with mentioning.

We are super happy with this microwave. We installed it ourselves, and it was moderately difficult. The hardest part was marking the drill holes with the template. I had to cut the edges off the template to make it more accurate lining it up against the bottom of the cabinet to drill holes. We also had to take out the fan unit and put it back into the cabinet facing forward to vent it forward through the carbon filter. It comes in the box ready for venting up into a duct, but we don't have a duct. It was really hard to remove the plastic piece at the front and install the carbon filter. I can't imagine how I'll do that again to replace the filter with it up on the wall. Otherwise it works great and looks really good.

We bought this microwave when we remodeled our kitchen. We got this particular one since it matched our new range. We are very satisfied with it so far. Would recommend it to others.

I was happy to get this at the price of under $200. The only thing I have any issues with is the turn table plate size is smaller than my last microwave, and they are determined to move the buttons around rather than leave then where they were. Also this vents out above the microwave and I worry it may danage the wood of the cabinets over time. Just a thought.

This GE over the range microwave is good looking, easy to use because the controls are well thought out, conveniently located and specific to whatever need one has.. It is quiet except when venting. Excellent product.

The panel for the use of the microwave is TOO DARK!!! I called because I thought that perhaps the back lighting for the panel was off. I was told that the LED clock was the light . The image shown here is not what I have. I have to put on all the lights in order to read the various time elements, etc. Have asked others and they have agreed that it is really very difficult to read.

This is a replacement for my 15+ years over the range GE microwave, the newer version has some nice upgrades. In my opinion a good value for a fair cost.
