The major negative is that they changed the lighting of the clock to bright white. Now the numbers are harder to read to tell the time, and the 1 digit for the minutes is too close to the colon that separates the minutes from the seconds. Other than that it would have received 5 stars.

We had hoped to get the exact same GE Microwave model so that installation would be easy. GE no longer makes the Microwave we had & so had to get a different model. Why would the engineers design a different mounting bracket? It made it much more difficult to replace. poor design GE!

I love the 30 second button and how you can push 1 for one minute or 2 for two minutes with a small amount of effort. I also like the kitchen timer feature that keeps ringing until you shut it off. If I walk out of my kitchen while cooking/baking, I would often miss a timer that only has a short ring or buzz to it. Very good value for the price!
