Also the finish on the door around the window is cracking and falling off. Tried to call GE support but was not able to speak with a human. I would not recommend this product or any other GE products based on this experience.

A few adjustments and it fit right over the stove using the old supports. The template hole indicators were off enough to make a difference so measure against the unit. Switching the blower to front facing was a snap. I am no electrician, but the install was fairly easy.

It's nothing special, but it does the job, and was relatively easy to self-install. There are no particular bells and whistles to crow about. It does the work we want it to do, which is perfect.

Loses one star due to poor clock

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Looks good, works well, very similar to my previous GE Over the Range, except they moved some of the buttons which will take some getting used to. The major negative is that they changed the lighting of the clock to bright white. Now the numbers are harder to read to tell the time, and the 1 digit for the minutes is too close to the colon that separates the minutes from the seconds. Other than that it would have received 5 stars.
