This was a no-brainer and works great. Also, if you are replacing other GE over-the-range microwaves, please know that you do not have to do another mount or anything and you can use the same mount, but different hole at the top cabinet.

Replacing a microwave of the same brand & dimensions. This one has a much brighter light as well as a stronger exhaust fan compared to my older GE model. Only issue I had with the new one - Was installing it myself & was hoping to swap out the microwave with the new one without drilling any new holes. But for some reason, the rear bracket on this which attaches to the wall was different from the old one.

It sounds like a jet is taking off. Very disappointed with how noisy it is. I would not buy again due to the noise. Way too loud.

2nd time buying

Previous one worked well and this one works well (so far). We were hoping it would last longer before needing replacement (problem with the electronics). In the end we went with the same microwave since it had the features we want at the lowest price (by a moderate amount- it was on sale). Also, we had Bestbuy insall- very convenient.

Not worth it

Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have owned this model for exactly 10 days and a few minutes ago, it started making a buzzing sound out of nowhere while simultaneously the display screen blinked randomly. I tried unplugging it for a few minutes and plugging it back to attempt to resolve the issue but that has failed. I’m heading to the store as soon as they open tomorrow morning and hopefully I can exchange this piece of junk.
