I tried to buy a reasonably priced model but I guess the old adage, “You get what you pay for” holds true. In the future I will be more conscious of getting better upgrades than just the price of what I am buying.

I'd rather have one that doesn't default to Express Cooking. To get a specific time, you have to press another button for cook time and then enter the number of seconds and/or minutes. It's also the kind of stainless steel finish that shows fingerprints more readily. Otherwise, it does what it's supposed to.

The numbers flicker and will not stop. Tried unplugging and still no luck. I would not buy this cheapo again.

The vent automatically turns on even when using for 15 secs. I couldn’t find a way to turn it off. This is the only drawback otherwise works well.

The installers did a fine job but because of the defective unit, I went back to Best Buy and purchased a different model. If it worked, I could probably have recommended this GE.
