    It fit the space, was white and avilable. Installers cost less than some others. It does what we need but does not have some of the buttons that the Kenmore did.

    Our last GE microwave died after a few years of light service. Thinking it would be easier to install, I bought the closest model. My mistake. After 6 months of normal usage, the handle to open/close the door already is cracked! Plus, the inside of the microwave is not metal - so you can't store your microwave plate cover using magnets. We already ordered a replacement microwave oven. We hate it and regret the purchase.

    Panel is not aesthetically good. Many defects in appearance. Features are not as good as previous model of ge that was replaced

    After one year of purchasing this product, it broke down. It had a 2-year warranty. When the service team came to my house, they saw a cockroach next to the microwave and said that the warranty did not cover it because there were cockroaches in the house. They left without performing any service.

  • Hot vapor from top vent hits the cabinet

    Depth of microwave unit is too short leaving the top vent too close to cabinet doors just above the microwave. Thus when hot vapor escapes from the top vent reaching the cabinets which will ultimately be compromised by the hot vapor,

    Does its job and heats food properly but the motor is obnoxiously loud. Then GE charges $99 to send a tech out to diagnose the issue. Not worth the cost of this microwave.

    For convenient I purchased this microwave to replace my old GE, however they are different in the back connected points had to re install the holder. But the microwave works well.

    I would have given it 5 stars as I have no complaints with the appliance. Looks and works well, I took away 2 stars because they lost the mounting screws and its very hard to get replacements.
