Also stipped working after a year mark. Not heating food. I bet service is more expensive than buying a new one. Very disappointed in this product. Buyers be ware!

Very poor design on mount brackets

Unfortunately they are NOT getting better. This is passable, the only real factor was availability. Q: “How’s the new microwave?” A: “Well, it was in stock.” It works, it’s louder than the old one, it’s decent. Next time I have to buy one, hopefully there are more to choose from.

Two years into ownership, flickering time/time cook etc. started to flicker. Brought in independent repair service. For $89.00 diagnosis said $150 for new mother board plus one other part. That makes it cost of unit to repair, ultimately. We won't buy GEW evewr again.

I often have to unplug it and plug it back in to get the buttons to work. This morning I was heating up food and after two times of putting the food back in, I realized it is not heating. It's not even two years old. Yes, I should have returned it when I first had problems, but I would have had to have someone come over and unmount it for me.

Use of the old MW rollers solved the problem or we would have returned the unit.

Obviously I am missing the boat in the sequence of button pressing, it is supposed to default to turntable on after each setting. I had a service tech come out during the warranty period, of course it didn’t fail. What am I missing?
