I could have rated this Microwave oven a 5 if GE had left the express cook (1-6) buttton's program in place as it was with the old model. With This new model the (1-6) express cook buttons can only be used for a particular time, instead of vegies, pasta, soups, etc.

So far microwave has worked fine, although it's only been a week since it was installed, with one small issue--one of the filters underneath keeps falling out. I've managed to put it back, but apparently not securely so not sure how to make stay in place longer.

Purchased: December 2021 Installed: January 2022 Surface Lightbulb-(R) side burned out: January 2023 Handle broke off: April 2024

You're online purchase ordering system is kind of a pain But other than that It went very very smoothly

Bought this to replace a GE over the range microwave that had the door handle falling off. 1 year and 2 months after installation the handle is now falling off the new GE. 2 months past the warranty expiration of course. Lesson learned no more GE appliances in my home. It functioned very well while it had an intact door assembly.

good micro wave. but cheaply made. a lot of plastic. prefer whirlpool better.

Price. is descent. The brand is widely respected. .

If I could send this back, I would, I knew it was to good to be true on the sale price, my husband had a stroke (memory) so I tried to get one basically the same my old GE was so much better they took out major things that I had , to top it off it’s very very noisy and the turn table makes noise.

Installation was sort of tricky along with the direction of the vent but with a little patience we figured it out.

Returned because the electrical chord was on the right side and too short to reach my outlet on the left side

After owning for 4 years 11 months the plastic vent trim and control panel disintegrated. Unit would trip the breaker when opening the door. Ordered replacement fuse and switches. Before removing top screws noticed that the plastic trim was brittle and breaking apart. The trim had never been removed prior. The control panel plastic mounts had also broken resulting in it being loose on the bottom right. Unit could not be repaired due to faulty plastic.

Their tool that was supposed to be for locating th e top hole was very difficult to use. Also not very powerful in use.

Seemed to be nice but when opened a huge dent was in the back. Returned with no issues

Extremely disappointed. I bought two of these for my rental property and in less than two years, the over stove light stopped working in both units. The microwave works fine, but the light that provides a safer night-time cooking environment in now non-functional and it will cost me as much to have Best Buy even take a look at it as it will cost to buy and install a brand new unit. I'm very annoyed and feel like I wasted too much money on these microwaves.

Loosks good. Have a hard time reading controls when lighting is low. Need more contrast or provide lighted keypads.

Bought this because the handle on my original broke and it was cheaper to buy the whole microwave than just the handle.

Replaced old GE Microwave that came with the house we purchased around 8 years ago. Hope this one lasts just as long. It's very similar.

Microwave looks great and delivered as advertised. Makes the kitchen look nicer and came at a great price

Cannot tell you how it works as yet, as I am still waiting to get it installed by your Geek Squad/In-Home Services. I'm sure the product will be fine, as I have owned this make & a similar model before. but I was not satisfied with your in-home installation service at all & continue to await my appointment, which is now put off indefinitely due to Corona Virus related issues.
