    Annoying auto fan on

    Very annoying auto fan on every time we use microwave. This was not existed on previous two GE over the counter top model. Thinking of replacing with another brand.

    Failed with fire smell less than 4 years.

    Purchased Sept 2019, died - flashing on and off - the light inside, panel, everything - and smelled like electrical fire by Jan. 2023. Less than 4 years of usage for $200+

    Doesn't last - they are junk after three years

    This model lasted three years and blew a fuse. I replaced the internal fuse for $12. Apparently, this is very common in this model. I replaced the fuse and it lasted 30 seconds and blew again. Any appliance should last more than three years.

    Died in 4 years. I fixed it and now its dead again. Not worth fixing this time. Seems like everything you buy today is pre-junk.

    Stopped working after 3 years

    Began to short out and trip the breaker after 2.5 years. Completely dead now after 3 years. Outside of the warranty period and GE won't budge. Last microwave lasted over 25 years. I expected better quality at this price point.

    Lasted 6 years with minimal use. I Purchased this for my rental property. My Tennant worked out of town during the week and barely used this product on the weekends.

    Only lasted three years and started shooting sparkes every time you tried to use it. Replaced with an LG we will see how it holds up

    Beware!

    After 16 months it has started popping the breaker. Looked at Consumer Reports and this is a very common issue (ranked 1.7 out of 5). If you are a do it yourself person it may be fine to take it down and replace the fuse. Most of us don't want the hassle.

    I thought GE was great brand. This microwave just died and it isn't even 2 years old. My old Panasonic microwave lasted 22 years before it died. They just don't make things like they used to. Very disappointed.

    We have this microwave for just about 3 years and it is now constantly tripping the circuit breaker. It is on a dedicated circuit so apparently the microwave is faulty. Should have lasted longer than 3 yrs.

    This microwave is not even 2 yrs old and just stopped working altogether. No power to anything in the unit do trust what consumer reports says about this product. 2 years and it’s totally dead

    Microwave just stopped working sfter 2 months - then ontol of that GE Service is terrible and couldnt figure our what was wrong. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY
