Apparently, this is very common in this model. I replaced the fuse and it lasted 30 seconds and blew again. Any appliance should last more than three years.

Outside of the warranty period and GE won't budge. Last microwave lasted over 25 years. I expected better quality at this price point.

Looked at Consumer Reports and this is a very common issue (ranked 1.7 out of 5). If you are a do it yourself person it may be fine to take it down and replace the fuse. Most of us don't want the hassle.

My old Panasonic microwave lasted 22 years before it died. They just don't make things like they used to. Very disappointed.

It is on a dedicated circuit so apparently the microwave is faulty. Should have lasted longer than 3 yrs.
