I would give this negative stars if I could but the lowest it allows is one. We installed and same day one of the buttons got stuck, loud beeping occurred and no button worked to shut off or change setting. Had to unplug it to shut it off. A few days pass and the keypad shows nothing but it turned on by itself and the plate was spinning with light on with no way to shut it off. Had to unplug it again. This product is clearly defective and now I’m stuck beyond the return window with a defective, dangerous microwave that turns itself on and won’t shut off

Replacing a very old microwave. Straightforward installation, great looks and all needed performance features.

We purchased this item, over-the-range-microwave, to match with the drop-in oven range that we purchased on the same day/time. The primary objective was to purchase a drop-in oven range. We are pleased with the delivery of both, microwave and the range on the same day (5/14/2022). The microwave was installed professionally and we are pleased and happy, but still we ae waiting for the drop-in range to be installed.

It fits exactly in the same spot where it was the other one, not adjustment was necessary; it works great.

Nice looking, functional, over the range microwave. I love the GE products with the exception of the refrigerator - ridiculous to pay over $50 for a water filter with a "chip" in it.

Easy to use with all the features you need for daily use. Inside size (1.6 Cu.Ft) fits a regular recipient. Good price for a GE appliance.

My husband and I installed it. Make sure you read ALL the instructions before you put it up...hubby said he was all set then once it was all up I used the fan that night cooking supper and the house filled up with like smoke or whatever. It was because he didn't read one part of the instructions. The top of the microwave if your venting it outside you need to take the top off and turn the device the opposite way otherwise it vents it into your house. Had to take it back down the next day take that part off turn it and put it back up. So fyi, read ALL the instructions q

Using it in rental unit. Has all the features of more expensive appliances at a fraction of the price. Fits over range perfectly.

We picked up this unit when our old Maytag decided it'd be fun to throw a short and almost set our kitchen on fire. After installation the first thing I noticed was just how quiet the unit is. It's almost silent. If the beep from it finishing cooking didn't go off you'd have a hard time realizing it was even on. The wattage to size ratio seems true to form, might even run a little higher, The carousel is large and very well balanced. On a side note our Best Buy installer had this guy up and running in under 30 minutes including removal of the old unit.

Looks beautiful and very powerful. Best Buy Total tech installation is really awesome. They hauled away from old microwave and installed this one. It only took 3 days from the day I ordered to the day it was installed. I would recommend this microwave for someone looking for a budget friendly and high performant appliance.

Replace my Whirlpool microwave which died after 3 years, it was acting up 1 year into it and then the door sensor stop working, then sparks were flying outside the microwave. Never get whirlpool! So I went with the trusted brand GE. I mean I can’t complain for the price, it’s not bad. Only thing I think can be better is the panel. The entire thing is a soft plastic that I feel if I press hard it will rip. Even the clock area is soft. I hope this one last over 3 years.

Microwave seems to work well. Change is hard so still getting used to slightly different buttons than what I’m used to but that’s fine. 1.6 cubic feet doesn’t seem any smaller than our old 1.7. Can’t really imagine needing anything more and it looks nice in the kitchen.
