Minor difficulties installing as we missed one of the slots on the wall mounted bracket on the first try. The template for screw holes from the top didn't line up and had to be drilled multiple times. Looks nice and works well so far though.

It should be centered above the door and not centered above the whole unit. Its functions are OK but the button placement is also not ideal compared to other GE microwaves I've used in the past

80dB while heating up food. Too loud

Extremely load fan when operating though, Sound level was 80dB standing in front of it, like a hair dryer. The fan "automatically" turns on, so its always loud. It should be a whisper unless I turn on the vent, does the electronics really need 300CFM to keep cool? Many people commented how quite it is, while some had same noise complaint. I Replaced a 20year old GE microwave that was very quite, so I either got a bad unit or that's just the noise levels people are used to now... i will talk to GE about this issue.

The microwave sending unit sparked and melted the interior panel sending charred plastic over the food. Warranty had ended at one year and repair would cost nearly as much as a new one, so we bought this replacement. Installation went well, and it works fine. This time we bought the 3 year extended in-home service warranty. The only complaint I might have would be the button arrangement is a little less intuitive than the first one, though this one cost less so I can't complain.
