It's a pretty microwave. The issue we encountered was that, for some reason, the entire unit would shutdown after making a cup of oatmeal. The issue continued even after the microwave had a part replaced. Under the company warranty, we were able to get a replacement. GE was wonderful to work with and this should bring peace of mind in case you're thinking about purchasing this microwave or another GE unit. We live in a rural area so we didn't have the usual advantage but the company worked with us. We had to remove the SN sticker in order to get refunded.

Microwave was easy to install; excellent instructions. The appliance has a very clean appearance.

Had to replace an old Kenmore microwave with a microwave with a lower profile height. This one is much louder, but does what it is supposed to. I was grateful to find the black without stainless steel to match our other appliances.

I was very pleased with the service at our local Best Buy and the overhead microwave we purchased from the location. Their attention to our needs and changes of opinion for our microwave helped us make the right choice. I hope to come back for other appliances in the future.

This microwave suits my purposes perfectly. It is sleek and fit into the spot of the old unit I replaced. The price was right and it works just as I thought it would. I like the convenience of Express Cook, which allows you to just enter the number of minutes you want.

Has all the features we need because our old one died. Really like the fact it has a surface light as some did not and wanted to keep that feature. Buttons are kind of stiff. Although large inside the turntable is a bit small and you can toggle the turning feature on and off. That was a plus.

I bought this as a replacement for a 6yr old basically the same model (model # was the same except last digit), assuming that installation would be easy. Not! They changed the mounting bracket and location of top screws. At least the exhaust fan outlet is in the same place.

Horrible! Broke after 18 months of use. Digital keypad had been flickering for months and the other day it had a loud noise and wouldn't heat food. 6 months out of warranty. My last GE microwave lasted 10 years.

I needed to replace a failed microwave, and was happy to find this one that fit into my above the stove space. It has features similar to my old one and also has a turntable.

The representitive was very precise on making sure my new over the stove microwave would fit in the space of our old one. The new microwave is sleek and easily open door is quite nice for a change.

Good basic over-range microwave. Easy to install. Seems solidly built. Fan relatively quiet. Surface light good. Heats food items well; need less time than with old microwave. As others have said, buttons need to be pushed fairly hard to operate microwave functions.

BestBuy staff and the delivery/installation/etc. workers were exceptionally good and thorough workers. My only problem is due to my arthritic fingers having difficulties pushing the soft tabs hard enough for my choices to register on the Microwave,
