Great Microwave with the basic and necessary features

Our previous microwave died (after 13 years) so we selected this GE model as a replacement, mainly because of immediate availability. So far, we are very pleased with it. I do like the "express cook" 1-minute increments, + the add 30 seconds feature.

We were replacing a previous model and it was a great replacement for the money.

microwave works mostly fine except for the whistle noise it makes every time . I had a contractor install it and it made the noise the second day , removed it and checked everything and it still makes the noise. I need to contact GE to see my options.

Does the job, no complaints. Delivered on time and was easy to install.

Long story short, around Mother's Day, I had unexpected expenses & so got my mother a late Mother's Day/Early Anniversary gift because her previous one stopped working after the warranty ran out. She loves it and is super happy with it! (Fyi dad got a battery powered weed eater & leaf blower)

The "buttons" have to be pushed fairly hard for it to register Seems to heat well and evenly We've only had it a couple of weeks so still adjusting to where everything is after having a different brand that I could use almost with my eyes closed. Overall happy

Make sure you check specifications closely and ensure that your backsplash, if you have one, goes up far enough. We have always been so worried about width and this one is perfect for standard openings. It is however about 1/2 inch shorter than most and exposed drywall.

Microwave has many features and works as described. The problem we are having is, after 30 days of use the plastic covering the buttons is loosening and beginning to bubble. It won't be long and it won't look good. I guess you get what you pay for in this case.

I had previously bought a GE over the range microwave about 5 yrs ago at Best Buy. During a very bad thunder storm my microwave didn't want to work any more. I was so happy that I could find the same brand, color, and most importantly the dimensions at Best Buy again. I got it for a super deal as well. Thank you Best Buy, my family and I can't live without our microwave.

It’s noiseless, great product, great price convinient

It fit the spot and generally looked like the old GE but the construction felt much flimsier and the alignment of the door to the cabinet of the microwave was not quite right.

Installation went smoothly, the microwave oven is easy to use and works fine.

I like this because it is Simple to use, looks nice and works great!

This is a perfect item to get started it works well I like it

Clean white finish and clear control panel; Doing the job...specifications show maybe a little less maximum wattage than previous microwave we had, and cooking requires a few more seconds here and there, but all microwaves require a little learning period to get acquainted with proper cooking times.

This microwave makes unusual sounds when the touch pad is used. Also the unit makes a vibrating sound when cooking food more than a few minutes (it's not the fan). Unit looks nice and was easy to install.
