    Breaks down after a year

    This model has been good for us up until recently. We purchased it February 2020. Now it does not heat. Power is fine, timer is ok, but would not engage and heat. I searched for issues since I was confused. I came back to reviews of this item with issues and a faulty fuse being common. It's absolutely true. This started happening after about a year well out of the warranty period. Now we are having someone come fix it. By the sounds of other review we could be dealing with this issue often. A $178 microwave shouldn't be breaking down after a year, avoid buying this model if possible!

    Went to location on Beach and Imperial. Was waiting at the customer center for appliances for 20 minutes. There was 3 or 4 representatives in the cubicle. Not a one acknowledged us. No one said, we’re busy but will be right with you. Sorry for the wait. Nothing. I went home and ordered online. I will never go in your store again. I am need of new large appliances, but I will go to Home Depot or Lowe’s.

    Purchased and installed by Best Buy in 1/2018.... No longer works and has to be replaced 11/2020. Shut off in the middle of cooking, and the keypad is completely dead. Flipped the breaker on and off, now it only lights up inside, then goes dead again as soon as you press a key. TOTAL GARBAGE.

    really disappointed I was supposed to get this microwave on 12/05/25 and today 12/15/25 still nothing. I was very excited and happy with my purchase and now just waiting????????

    I am not happy with the all black face and the buttons on the microwave you can not see. Very hard to read. I was hoping they would be in white.

    Had issues with the older version of this unit, broken handle, cracked plastic covers and it died even though we’ve only used it for less than two years. We’ll see how long this one lasts

    Stopped working on the year anniversary hence, no warranty, if you buy ensure additional warranty is purchased. Worked great while it lasted. The cost for parts is worth the repair.

    Purchased in 2023 to replace a GE model purchased 30 plus years ago. Got the BB "Total Tech" promo for the delivery/install/recycle old. Worked ok for 8 months and then intermittent no turntable spin or heating (see online description of this as a common issue.) Closer to 1 year warranty date ( 2 years if you continue TT for $199 a year) and figured BB would replace considering what I was told at purchase of plan... Result: BB concierge for TT said I had to go through GE as in Warranty-- GE assigned appliance service to 'Repair" with an appointment in 3 weeks .. Beware Total Tech

    It fit the space, was white and avilable. Installers cost less than some others. It does what we need but does not have some of the buttons that the Kenmore did.

    Hot vapor from top vent hits the cabinet

    Depth of microwave unit is too short leaving the top vent too close to cabinet doors just above the microwave. Thus when hot vapor escapes from the top vent reaching the cabinets which will ultimately be compromised by the hot vapor,
