Digital keypad had been flickering for months and the other day it had a loud noise and wouldn't heat food. 6 months out of warranty. My last GE microwave lasted 10 years.

Liked the microwave but unreliable parts
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We like everything about this microwave except that after only 11 months from purchase the control display started flickering and had to be replaced under warranty. Then after 11 more months the same replacement part failed and started doing the same thing. I called GE Cares and was told that there was no warranty on the replacement part and we would have to pay the parts and labor which would be well over 200$! At this point we’ll just keep using the microwave until the display panel no longer works, then buy another brand’s microwave.
