No complaints so far relative to performance. I do wish the menu options were easier to navigate. The last GE microwave we owned had a larger screen for text so you could see more menu options as once. The price was a big driver for us and it had a very competitive sale price.

Thump Thump Surge

Weird power-like surge at the end of the heating, warming, and defrost cycle. Not sure what that’s about but it doesn’t seem to affect use of product

Like the fact that the turntable is flush with the bottom of the microwave. Only issue I had immediately was if I didn't have enough overhead light on, I couldn't see/read the control panel. It is more of a black on black. Now I'm use to where the ones I use are so it is no problem. It does have a smart feature: if you hit a control and there is nothing in the oven, it won't start, it will tell you to place item inside?? Very cool.

The size was an exact match but the installation bolts were a little different. We seldom used the convection oven feature - found it to be lacking in capability. But this microwave is doing great and is a champ. Highly recommend if all you are looking for is a nice sized basic microwave
