Pretty decent microwave. Does what it’s supposed to do however mine is coming unglued. I guess the stainless steel front is glued to the door and the adhesive is starting to wear off. I have only had the microwave for three months!

Worked great until the handle broke off just over a year of gentle use. Both plastic supports completely snapped. This is unacceptable quality from an outfit like GE. I had to super glue it back together because the manufacturer warranty only lasts one year. Hopefully it will hold. I see the price is now $400, way up from what I paid in Aug 2019 ($269). Consider another option!

I bought the matching microwave to my GE stove. I'm a 60 yr old Profesional and use the range top rarely. The Microwave handle de laminated after 7 months. No problem I thought - I have the GE warranty and bought an extended warranty of 5 years from Best Buy. I scalled and tried to place a claim and told this is normal and not covered. If this is how GE and Best Buy think a new rarely used device should look after 7 months I will have to buy else ware in the future.

I understand this is a basic microwave without any frills. But when the door handle cracks after a year of use it's disappointing. Now it's been 1.5 years and both top and bottom part of handle (the actual plastic) is cracked through / broken. Best Buy offered to have it replaced for $200!! (parts and labor)
I would NOT recommend this microwave.
