I was worried about this product after reading terrible reviews across many platforms, but with our cookie cutter new build homes, I had limited options to replace the built in microwave that came with the house. This GE 1.7 cu. ft. over the range microwave was one of the only sizes that would fit. It is a newer model than the 2013 model, but it is pretty much identical. The turn table is the same size as the old model, the buttons are a little different, but they are all there. They are not back lit, but neither was the older model, and I feel the complaints regarding the overly bright display are unfounded. It is clearer than the 2013 model, but does not illuminate the room as so many claim. I also was worried since so many people said you cannot see through the window. I think they left the film on because you can clearly watch the food cook with no issues. It is pretty simple, no fancy bells and whistles, a pretty standard microwave that does everything it is supposed to do. It was easy to install and came with replacement parts for the vent area, which was great because we bent the old one by accident. If you are trying to replace an old model, this will perform the same way. I just hope it lasts longer than the old one!

Spacious interior size easily handling a whole chicken and has a rotating glass cooking plate. Control panel easy to read and select cooking options. Clock is good size, well lit and easy to see from a distance. Good looking appliance too.

this microwave is 50 dollars more than the one without a "sensor" feature that supposedly creates an automatic "doneness" test internally it doesn't work, and even when it does, it's no easier than the regular one with timed programs

Works just as well as I expected. This was a replacement for a similar GE model that was about 12 years old. The new model continues to work great.

This model is the same Microwave that we have had for years, except we bought the Stainless Steel this time. The Stainless Steel looks great! The microwave works well and has all the features that we wanted. It was easy to install.

This was a perfect replacement for an older GE OTR microwave. Back/wall plate was the same so it mounted up in a matter of minutes. No new holes in the wall or anything time consuming. It works as it should, and will last for years.

Bought online sight unseen. Not what I expected.Replacing a GE space saver. This unit much bulkier and “less sound” but works well!

Works as advertised! Was easy to install and the mounting bracket was easier to use than my old fridgidaire I had.

This GE has some nice features, although I miss some of the sensor settings that we had on our former Amanda microwave, not available with this one. But, by trial and error, we can duplicate such settings.

Microwave looks good but does show finger prints which drives me crazy, guess I should have done my research. Works good not too hard to install. Not available in store has to be shipped to you but arrived on a few days

Nice microwave, but know that it does not have a Zero Clearance Hinge. Had to return because the door would not open with a wall to the left side of the unit.

We are pleased with this microwave. Some of the controls took some getting used to, but after use we found that the instant cook and add 30 seconds buttons are what we use almost exclusively.

I love the sensor reheat. It doesn't splatter food all over. The melt function is a nice feature. Takes some getting used to button placement over previous microwave but that's to be expected. We are very happy with the purchase.
