I haven't had any issues with GE products. This had the Express cook buttons plus a melt button for butter, chocolate, caramel, marshmallows etc. Its quiet and also has a filter.

Control panel easy to read and select cooking options. Clock is good size, well lit and easy to see from a distance. Good looking appliance too.

The new functions are really useful. the unit is very efficient, easy to work and does a terrific job of reheating and defrosting. A nice improvement by GE!

There are more expensive ones but this was to replace a 15 year old unit. Kind of a temporary unit till we redo the kitchen. But really nice.

We had to get a new refrigerator and the bisque color is no longer available so the microwave was replaced in slate color. We really like the slate appearance. This model only allows one beep tone and a mute function. The older model had several levels of "food ready" tones. This is a poor oversight as that function is important for different times of the day.
