I am very happy with this purchase and installing it was simple enough. The vent-a-hood works great and I do not feel any air escaping back into the house (unlike my previous one,) My only complaint is that the mute button beeps with you want to mute the sound instead of just displaying that the device is muted on the screen.

I was also shocked that all of the apparatus to hang the microwave was different considering we owned a prior GE microwave. We thought the installation would be a simple replacement but turned into a rather complicated process with lots of extra holes in our cabinets to get it installed.

The interior height is a little less than the last one, so my morning 1 liter of tea hits the top. The turntable is a little smaller as well. Works very well. The older unit looked a little more modern with its curves & recesses. This one is pretty much a square all teh way around.

I like the sensor melt and defrost are good.

Wasn't happy with the way they changed the screw holes to hold under cabinet. I had to cut tile and remove wood to make it fit instead of 1/2 hour install it took hours. when they change things they should explain it.

We can advise than when an over-the-range microwave is replaced, you should use the mounting bracket that comes included with the new microwave, even if you're replacing with the same model. The new screws, bolts and other hardware should also be used, and the new installation instructions should be followed. This is because the design and installation requirements can change over time.
