Very nice
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This microwave was easy to install. The only drawback is that it shows fingerprints easily. Works great. No complaints.

GE microwave
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good product, looks good and works good. If you are replacing your older model microwave, like I did, that was only 4 yrs old, which was this same model just obviously older, the mounting bracket is different and so are the top mounting holes. Which was kind of a pain having to mount the back plate, which of course has different mounting hole locations than the other newer model, and same with the top mounting holes, they have shifted forward about a inch and a half, and if you have a top cabinet that is a bit shallow it will be a bit more difficult to drill the new holes.

Plastic front finish scratched out of the box
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this microwave to replace a GE microwave I have had for sixteen years. Installed easily. Bought the black finish to match my other appliances. Took protective front sticky plastic off and found scratches/abrasive marks directly next to the GE logo/badge. Beyond frustrated, all I see are these scratches/abrasions. The units I replaced was also a black plastic finish and over its life did not show scratches like this. The control pad section to the right of the door is also loose so when I press a button it moves slightly and squeaks, there is no way to tighten it. Very disappointed with the out of the box deliverable.

Looks great, reasonable price
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking for a replacement over the stove microwave to fit in the space where the old had been so we had specific dimension requirement. Also, did not want to spend thousands of dollars. This microwave is the exact size that we needed, I love the clean lines and look of this microwave, it has some nice features, and feels very sturdy. Some other lower priced microwaves feel flimsy and cheap and you can tell they are not going to last, but this one feels sturdy and we are very pleased.

Great value for sensor cooking microwave
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been waiting a while to find a good deal to upgrade to an over the range microwave from my countertop microwave and Best Buy had this on sale for $213 which was a great deal compared to what over the range sensor cooking microwaves usually sell for. I did change the fan to the re-circulation direction which was very simple to do. I'm very happy with the microwave so far.

GE Microwave
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Installation was easy. After 3 weeks, we've had no issues. cooking time is shorter, as it has more power than our last microwave.

A decent replacement microwave
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Considering I paid less than $300 for this, it's very good. I don't need it to do a ton of things, but it's very easy to work with and came completely "pre-loaded" with settings for a variety of items. So far, it's doing just fine. When you select the Express Cook option, it does seem like it's taking a little bit of time for the brain to kick in to figure out wht it's doing. It sorta freaks me out because I keep wondering if it's going to crash and burn. Brains are touchy you know!!

GE does it again
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We have always purchased GE appliances, they last a lot longer than other brands (our last GE OTC microwave was with us for 18+ years) with no constant service needs like other brands. We love the look and feel (it matches our new GE refrigerator), works flawlessly by heating the food evenly, runs a lot quieter than our old one and the fan, light and user interface is all very intuitive. If we had another kitchen I would buy a second one!

Bulbs cost $24 to replace and there are two
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The oven works fine as did the last GE microwave. It's not the engineers who are the problem. First problem: the oven uses two incandescent bulbs for the cooktop light. EACH COSTS $24 TO REPLACE. We've had our oven a year and a half and one just died, so they don't last long. In 2020 LEDs should have been used of course, but clearly GE decided to go for cash flow... from YOU :) (There are no "generics" for this bulb). Second problem: in anything but bright light the keypad is illegible. In fact in low light you can hardly tell it has writing on it. Bring a flashlight or candle. Third problem: The user interface is awkward: the buttons are not logically laid out. However I notice GE has changed that since we bought the oven, so maybe that's better now. So GE: residual income = lousy review. It's a trade off.

GE Over Range Microwave Oven
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy Installation but GE changed mounting bracket design. Originally purchased to replace older GE thinking mounting was same. Works great, all works as advertised. Best Buy obtained this unit 2 weeks faster than big box stores could in a large metro market.

Great microwave for home use
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We shopped at several store before we made our purchase. The lady at Bestbuy that help us with our purchase order had helped my wife with a camera a couple years ago. We had to order because ours was not in stock. It was also on back order so it is taking a long time to receive. Best Buy had the best price plus we had several gift cards to you. I can't wait to get my microwave.

Spacious GE microwave...!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s a basic microwave by GE. It has weight and time defrost, sensor cooking controls, add 30 seconds microwave time, and the best feature you can turn off the rotation of the turntable. Love the black color matches my black Kenmore electric stove. The price is also just right. I can’t see spending more for what a microwave should do. Thanks Best Buy.

A very good microwave but with a glitch or two
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a good microwave with the exception of the following: - Occasionally a message will appear on the control panel to "Insert the food" when the food is already inside. You have to open the door and shut it then press start. I have not discovered how to turn this feature off, if it is even possible to do so. - The unit is usually freezing cold inside which means you have to cook the food longer to get it hot. I called for a reinstall, but when the same installers came out (people contracted by Best Buy to do the work, not Best Buy employees), they said there was nothing that could be done. In all honesty, I am not sure if this is a problem in the microwave or the vent pipe to the outside of the house. Hopefully, this will only be an issue in winter. Otherwise, the unit functions well, is easy to clean and the price was excellent for a white one.

Nice addition to the package
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like this product but have only 1 "cons" to this item: I wish the control panel would illuminate at dark or a button option to make it light up. It is hard to see any buttons at night and I have to turn on the big overhead kitchen light
