Exactly what we were looking for based on prior microwave dimensions and the outline of our backsplash. Good features for the money. install was a little more difficult for us because the overhead cabinets were not exactly square to the wall and the left hand portion was slightly wider/longer from the center of the enclosed template. The charcoal color on the inside took some getting used to (the original microwave had a white interior). Overall pleased with the product and I especially like not having physical buttons that could potentially break in the future.

Great unless the sensor is dirty…

Love this microwave! My only quip is that the one sensor that it has that helps the microwave know how long to cook the food on the ceiling of the microwave - so…if butter splatters, it gets on the sensor and then makes it so it no longer will read correctly. It’s not easy to take the sensor out and clean it either - so…I guess just keep everything covered in the microwave? Maybe most people already do that but the microwave has this specific “melt” feature - which works like a dream as long as the sensor is not broken/dirty. I understand the need for the sensor to be where it is in the microwave, I just wish they would’ve put in a way to clean it easily.

It looks like we've had this microwave for around 9 months now. I mean, it's a microwave. We don't personally use our microwaves for much more than reheating leftovers, so you would think I wouldn't have much to complain about but...
I have two things that I don't like about this microwave.
1. The door feels flimsy... like it will definitely wear and break overtime. Feels really cheap. I don't like that.
2. At first, the heating was great... but over the last couple of months the microwave has been unreliable. For example, if we heat something up using the 1:00 minute quick button, one attempt might not heat the meal up at all. Feels like we only had it in there for about 10 seconds. But then another time, that same setting will have the food cooking as if we had it on max power for several minutes. Disturbing to me.
So, It works for now. We'll keep it until it dies because we don't necessarily have the means to just go out and buy a new microwave every year, but I would have liked to be able to write a review that was like, yeah! It's a microwave! It does what microwaves are supposed to do!
Oh well.

I bought a suite of GE appliances for my kitchen remodel and recently had the microwave installed. So far, so good. I like the sensor cook option where you pick a number based on what you're reheating. i just wish microwaves came with the soft close door option like my cabinets, because the glass detached from my last microwave from closing the door too hard at times, but you can't have everything.

I recently updated my kitchen with new GE Appliances. I was originally going to order the microwave a notch under this one but my husband convinced me to go with this one.
There are a couple of things annoy me about this but that is just because I am a creature of habit. I don't like to let it beep once it is done so I am usually there and ready to hit CANCEL. On this microwave the button is where the Add 30 Seconds button is located. As you might guess, I keep hitting the wrong one. On the bright side, you can turn off the beep.
I have not gotten used to the Express Cook buttons and should probably read the manual to get a better understanding of the options.

This is a replacement for a Samsung that didn’t last as long as it was expected, my wife actually hated it. We had a GE Microwave previously and lasted several years under heavy use, so we decided to get another GE based on that experience. The new microwave was easy to install with the help of another person to hold it in place while screws were being put in place. And the most important part, my wife is happy with the performance and functions of this microwave.

The GE microwave is an upgrade from our previous one, having additional features and quiet in use.
Installation was easy as it matched the previous product’s dimensions.

The product looks good and the grey slate finishing goes well with white cabinets. The installation templates provided are not good. So if you are installing yourself read them carefully many times. Also use check your installation multiple times and take independent measurements. The metal plate for the wall is extremely sharp and cut my fingers at 2 places. The plate got bent during installation so I had to put 2 additional screws. I would expect a better quality heavier place with edges deburred.
