The only drawbacks are the lack of lighting on the control panel and more importantly the lighting over the cooktop. One small incandescent bulb is not much more than a night light and the lower level is a night light. It was easy to order and pick up from Best Buy.

Best Buy did a great job on the install – me not being a handyman, I would not of tried that on my own. Looks and works great, my only slight criticism would be that the button pad requires a bit more pressure than I’m used to, and the position of where the function keys are or so different from our previous KitchenAid model that it’s taking a little time getting used to.

Nice but with minor defect

I love the ease of programming. It’s quieter than the one it’s replacing (an LG), and the food seems to heat quicker. I haven’t bought anything from Best Buy in a while, and I did a lot of research before I made this purchase. The price was the best out there and this microwave was an excellent choice!

Good value for the price

It would be a better product if the control panel were backlighted since it can be challenging to see in partial light. Also, there are too many buttons - 80% of them will never be used.
