two years ago, I purchased the GE 1.9 Cu. Ft. Over-the-Range Microwave with Sensor Cooking and Steam Cleaning, and I’m really impressed with both its performance and features. It was by chance that we bought this Over the Range model. Our Best Buy sales person found the perfect fit. We were concerned because we have a high granite backsplash and our old unit barely fit and most of the new ones would not because of greater rear height. This G.E. unit, however, is perfect and actual fits better than the old one. But a surprise was coming: It works great and has a larger capacity and large turntable. Controls are easy to use and the unit is twice as quiet as the one it replaced. Excellent purchase!

After shopping for an over the range microwave at another store, my wife and I came to Best Buy. After talking with Tim in the Appliance Section, we knew we were in the right place, as Tim's professionalism and product knowledge were far superior to our experience at the other store we had shopped at earlier in the day. We ended up buying the GE 1.9 cubic foot over the range microwave with sensor cooking, as it offered the best value for the product features we were looking for. We've now had our new GE microwave for 3 weeks and are very pleased. So far we have used it primarily to reheat plates of food and cups of soup. In our old microwave reheated plates of food and cups of soup sometimes came out too hot to eat. However, the food plates and cups of soups we have reheated in our new GE microwave have all come out perfect. It also seems easy to clean.

Works great. My only complaint is that you have to hit cook time and then the amount of time that you want to cook the food for if it is not a whole minute or 30 seconds. Otherwise it works fine and seems easy to clean.

So far great microwave. Simple and easy to use. Love that I can mute the beep sound when pressing the buttons.

We replaced a 20 year old unit with this microwave. It matched all of the old units feature with a few additional ones. It was a straight forward replacement for the old unit, with a minimal amount of fuss. Installation took less than half an hour, including removing the old microwave. The only draw back I have seen, so far, is that the membrane keyboard is a little stiff. It is a good value for what it does (a lot).

I love the look and style of the microwave. It is easy to operate and I like that it cues you to complete a function. I miss and wish it had an option for warming rice. (Which was offered on my previous GE Profile )

We bought this as a replacement and are very happy with it. It was fairly easy to install with the help of my grandson. There are all the features we need and are satisfied with the purchase.

Great size, has all the features I needed, and fit perfectly on the previous bracket that was already installed. It was just what we needed, and super fast delivery.

Nice microwave to replace similar GE model from 10 years ago. Fairly quick and easy install. Works great. I purchased for a rental property so I am not personally on a regular basis. That’s the only reason for 4 stars.

Solid microwave. Don’t think it has anything special but does exactl what i expected. The family likes it and i don’t think the light is bad like others have said. I never expect the under light to be like a spot like so we like it alot. Happy with our purchase!

This is my second of this microwave, we love it. It is very easy to use and love the features to quick select how many minutes.

Replaced a 20 year old GE Profile microwave with this one. Door feels a little floppy and it's significantly louder. It's 1000 watts versus the 1100 and you can definitely feel the difference in cooking times. Overall it's ok.

Good microwave. Works as planned. Lots of room. Has some cool features.

Works well. Very roomy. The only thing I don't like is the light is dim. It needs to be much brighter

Good above the range microwave for the price. Quality and aesthetics are good. The front door is not as firm as we would have liked. But functions effectively.
