Great microwave and easy install with great instructions provided. I like GE appliances and for local purchases, Best Buy always has the best prices, beats Lowes and Home Depot every time, and it doesn't hurt Best Buy that buying an appliance from Home Depot is a waste of money!

Very simple compared to the other choices out there as there is no app connectivity to control it but does the main functions one expects from a microwave well. This was purchased to replace a much more advanced Whirlpool that catastrophically failed within two years of purchase.

So far the microwave works good. The only improvement I would recommend is for GE to reduce the intensity of the clock display. At night it is so bright, that it is actually hard to read; but,,,, the microwave itself is good.

After 16+ years our old microwave finally died. This product has been a super replacement.

I've been using it 1.5 months i don't cook much with a microwave but the reheat options and melt options are great takes out a lot of guesswork, I also like it's steam clean function. I don't like how flimsy the knob is inside to hold glass plate in place, I am expecting that to break. Other than that it seems really good so far

The prior unit of same model lasted 8 years which was disappointing, but we used it a lot. When we turned the light in to see the stove top we noticed the microwave metal got very hot. They changed from the simple plug in appliance bulb to a halogen bulb that is very hot. Why not LED???? We complained to GE, but as with a GE refrigerator that dies in 8 years, they don’t respond indicating they don’t care. GE (and Maytag) used to be the best, they are garbage now.

Great looking microwave and great features. I wish there were more options for the black slate as I upgrade other appliances.

Perfect addition to our kitchen. Had the previous model for 10 years and it finally broke. Hope this one last another 10 years.

it looks good, it works well - what more could you want? It was a bit of a beast to install - definitely a 2 man job, but apart from that - all good!!

I bought this replace the same model from 2016. Somehow 2016 model feels sturdier and higher quality. The handle on this is flimsy. It's also considerable louder than the old one. It appears GE did a lot of cost cutting measures. For example, old one had two light bulbs, this one has only one. It feels cheaper. Overall, it's pretty good but compared to the older version, quality seemed to go down.

I had to wait to pick up the microwave for a week but it was well worth it!! It’s modern looking and the inside is not white which is what I was avoiding. Highly recommend this for anyone looking for a modern microwave to match stainless steel appliances.

The buttons require a little extra push to make work. The fan is redickulesy loud, sounds like a low flying plain on high and not much better on low. This is venting straight up and out. The display is very bright and not dimmable. If you sleep in your kitchen this may be a problem.

I am still learning to use my new microwave but so far I am happy with it. The settings are different from my old one but I will get used to them.

Honestly, I didn't know what to expect from good ol' GE in terms of quality or styling, but when this is installed, it is quite attractive and seems to be well-built. Having the exterior vent is key.

Fits great works great and the buttons are easy to use
