    Great purchase! The microwave was a little challenging to install as the anchor screw placement changed even though same manufacturer.

    Overall seems to be a good appliance. The buttons on the panel aren't sensitive enough, seems I have to apply a bit of force to set the times, etc. Otherwise, no complaints.

    The vent booster mode of the 4 speed modes is powerful. More powerful than my previous GE 3 speed model.

    Regularly not heating food

    Am I the only person that has trouble getting this microwave to heat items? If I select Cook Time and then 1:00...the food is not heating up. Very frustrating. Also, if I select the Add 30 seconds, nothing..... I've been having to go back to using my countertop microwave most of the time. :(

    Looks good, cooks well, but controls are not intuitive and it is VERY loud with a 60Hz Hum when heating. Install + Removal of old unit nearly doubled the cost of the unit.

    Worked great for almost two years. Now the microwave continues to run when it shouldn't be on. Very dangerous. the manufacturer warranty is only one year. I didn't get the extended warranty because I have $69 microwaves that have worked for 10+ years. Wasted nearly $600. Or I guess I rented for $300 a year. Now I need a new one.

    Bought July 2019 - had an issue within 40 days after purchase (fan wouldn’t shut off) just past the 30 day return time to Best Buy. We do not use our microwave that often! Not daily, and maybe just a couple times a week if that, reheating coffee or something. Not even 1.5 years in but outside of warranty and it won’t shut off!!! No timer running, nothing! Light on and microwave running so I had to unplug. It doesn’t reset and the cost to fix is just as much as I paid for this. I should have listened to the reviews. Don’t buy this microwave.

    GE microwave

    My old microwave (4 yrs old) wasn't working properly and the technician said it would cost more to fix it than to replace it so I oppted to replace it. I'm not very happy with the new microwave. It sticks out really far from my cabinets for one thing. The buttons need to be pressed much harder than any appliance I've had. It also is not popping my popcorn very well.

    bad service from best buy, good microhood

    The microhood its self is nice (I ordered 1 through homedepot after sending the one I ordered from best buy back). I purchased a open box unit that was rated like new with everything included in the box. When I got it home and pulled everything out, the attachment points on the top side were damaged to the point that one was pulled out of the casework, and the other was loose. It had been installed, and then deinstalled poorly. Best buy did not do their job checking it before relisting it. The parts missing/damaged are required to hang the microhood. Without them in placed and undamaged, you can not install it. I will not be buying any more appliances from best buy in the near future.

    Love to Disappointment

    We bought this beautiful GE microwave 2 years ago. Unfortunately, the unit stopped working correctly (would not heat food). We are very disappointed and realize things are not made as well as they once were. We really loved this microwave too.
