GE, bad idea to change the light bulb type

When we turned the light in to see the stove top we noticed the microwave metal got very hot. They changed from the simple plug in appliance bulb to a halogen bulb that is very hot. Why not LED???? We complained to GE, but as with a GE refrigerator that dies in 8 years, they don’t respond indicating they don’t care. GE (and Maytag) used to be the best, they are garbage now.

Number keys needs to be bigger than others.

To expensive to repair. Not happy with the longevity but had to purchase another GE as my unit is built in.

It did not come with any filter, i think GE should have included at least one set of filters for the exhaust fan. My existing exhaust was circular and this microwave exhaust is rectangular.

It has a number of pre selected cooking times. The melt and defrost work great. It is also nice to have a strong fan. This is my second one like this and i only hope it last longer than the first one that only lasted 5 years.
