Large enough, easy to use, many features which help in the kitchen

Our old over-the-range microwave finally gave up on us and we needed a replacement - this one fit our needs. Not top of the line, but no problems to speak of in the several weeks of use so far. The only very minor gripe to mention is that the door itself feels a bit light and not as sturdy as you may think it should be. That hasn't created any issue though. Paid extra for installation - perhaps a bit pricey but worth it for me as I really don't enjoy doing it.

Easy to clean, nice on the space and bottom are big

This is my 2nd Ge in 10 yrs. The microwave works great so far but the numbers and letters are hard to read it's to dark the picture shows a grey background but it's really black and the letters are not white. This one is quieter than my old one.

So far it's a winner. I like it very much. Very good.

This GE microwave is a solid little machine, especially at the price point. Best Buy did a great job on the install – me not being a handyman, I would not of tried that on my own. Looks and works great, my only slight criticism would be that the button pad requires a bit more pressure than I’m used to, and the position of where the function keys are or so different from our previous KitchenAid model that it’s taking a little time getting used to.

Great Device for a family of size 4-5. A bit noisy.

Bought this along with other kitchen appliances about 3 weeks ago and so far so good. It's very roomy and pretty easy to use. Always liked GE product.

Our old microwave (GE) died and we replaced it with another GE. We were somewhat limited as we had to fit it an area with an existing backsplash. As is the case with most microwaves, the reheating of dishes is a little uneven. However, for our needs it works fine. Not to be picky, but the keypad keys are a little hard to engage. On the other hand, maybe this is a good thing to make sure you make the proper selection. We have only had the microwave a month so will report back if we have any issues.

Fit right in to replace our 12 year old GE Profile over the range microwave. Works well. It is, however, the noisiest microwave I’ve ever had. Looks nice and works, and the price was great so I can’t really complain.

Love the microwave. Too bad that for the price I paid they couldn't include an instruction book. Started looking for one on the internet and they wanted to charge for it. Finally found someone who told me where to download one for free.

This newer model is louder than my previous GE microwave.

Sleek, attractive, user friendly, reliable. This is our second GE microwave. The first one withstood 17 years of heavy usage. Best Buy delivery and installation arrived as scheduled, removed our old microwave, installed the new one, and checked to be sure it was working properly. I highly recommend the microwave and the Best Buy installation.

Only used the microwave for a couple of weeks. like design. Minus one star for noise when microwaving first begins. Not overwhelming noise, but a bit bothersome at times. Makes the unit sound hollow. I probably would buy the unit again in spite of noise.

The GE 1.9 Cu. Ft. Over-the-Range Microwave is a replacement for our previous microwave. It has a larger inner chamber which allows you room for larger dishes. It does not have all of the features our previous microwave had (less reheat options, more steps to cook options). The lighting over the range is better than our previous microwave. (Our previous microwave was a Whirlpool.)

The GE microwave works fine. It has a lot of nice features however I think the sound is loud. It might be because it's a sensor microwave which means that as it's cooking something it could add more power at different times going up and down. It's a little annoying but it does get the job done. Overall the microwave finish is very nice I love the inside finish. It's kind of a charcoal gray interior which is nice. I like it better than the white interior. To reheat and defrost works very nice. Overall I would have gave it a five star rating if it wasn't for the noise why it's cooking or reheating using the sensor.. My other GE microwave was more quiet. it just might be because of the sensor cooking that the sound changes why it adjusts the temperature. For me it's annoying.

I’m really pleased with the new GE microwave. It’s so quiet and cooks evenly. The technicians did a beautiful job on the installation. Very professional job!
