It replaced one that I had for eleven years. I purchased the same brand in hopes that it would fit without any problems, which it did. I paid for installation which went flawlessly. The installers were right on time, friendly, and professional. Because they could use the same installation bracket, it took very little time to install. Overall, everything went smoothly, and I love the microwave.

Our microwave so far is outstanding on all functions accept 1. Our surface light worked for a few days and no longer working. I believe we just need to change the light bulb. Need to look at my manuel on what type needed.

The problem I had was my other one was a 36" over the range. So I needed one that would fill that space and this was one that would work along with the filler pieces that you could get. But so far so good and it is the same as the other one just not as powerful as this one is 1000 watts and my other one was 1100 watts. And believe it or not it does show when you use it. But over all I like it and it was equal to the others on the market.

First time doing popcorn it did over do it. Not sure why. Other than that it works good. Plenty of cook settings, pre programmed defrosts, useful shortcuts.

First one lasted until about 3 months after the warranty ran out (15 months). Bought this one and it went kaput after 11 months. Used the warranty to get it fixed (took 4 different service trips and replaced almost all the parts). Four months later, the thing is dead again and now out of warranty. They offered me a $100 rebate to buy a new GE branded microwave as a replacement. This next one will likely be my last one because it last a long time or I’ll never purchase GE again.

Same Model Different Mount

Decided to get another thinking top/back mounting and hangers would be the same. Mounting holes and hangers were different. Purchased microwave on sale at a good price and it is working well. Time will tell.
