Needed a new microwave when old one decided to not heat. As it was under warranty customer service helped me get this one. It had all I was looking for, stayed in my budget ( not easy) and fit my space!! I am so pleased with it. I would have bought this one even if it wasn’t a replacement.

had trouble with the first order and (best buy) and I myself should of known better than to sell( me)-buy a box that was ripped on the side and slightly dented in. On getting it home we spent a full 3 hours taking our old out and putting up this new one. Only to see the bottom had a slight dent in the back of the micro itself! (thats why I will never again buy a box that has a rip or even a slight dent) but after we installed it it worked one time . when we tried a another sample it shut down never worked again we spent another 1 1/2 of our time now taking it down boxing it up and driving it back .Best Buy did not have any ,had to be ordered 5 days latter got another put it in and it worked like a charm and it is great and we love it....I was hoping for a micro that would complement my new GE range that has a grey in it and this micro has that perfect coloring could not of asked for a better match. Also the reason I gave excellent value is is caught a sell on this that was like 100.00 off

Both of my installers came wearing covid 19 p.p.e. (Masks, Gloves and Boot Covers). Friendly, quick, clean and thorough install. They even installed a new outlet I had in the garage because the installers of my old microwave had tampered with the existing outlet. They removed and hauled away the old microwave. Awesome job guys and many thanks.

So far everything everything has cooked perfectly. Cleans up easily. looks great.

As a microwave, nothing much has changed at GE over the past 20 years. It does what it says it does. But some features need to be updated. For example... a. The display brightness is not adjustable. It is quite bright. b. The touchpad needs backlighting. Unless you've memorized the positions of all the input buttons, the gray text on a black background is unreadable without turning on the kitchen lights. What a simple feature that GE (and others) have ignored for years, and so annoying it is not present. We bought this model thinking it could re-use the same mounting bracket and upper cabinet support anchors of the one it replaced. It couldn't. As a cost-cutting "improvement", GE reduced the number of upper cabinet bolts from 3 to 2. I guess a penny savings was worth re-engineering the support hardware.

It was time for our association to replace our current microwaves. Ordered four for our cabin association and everyone is very pleased. Delivered on time and installation done by cabin maintenance staff with no issues. Very easy to read instructions and the fit was perfect ... everything described in the specs was right on.

BEST MICROWAVE I'VE EVER OWNED. VERY EASY TO CLEAN THE WAY IT'S DESIGNED ON THE INSIDE. LOOKS GREAT, AND COOKS FABULOUSLY. MY OLD MICROWAVE BROKE, ALL OTHER APPLIANCE STORES TOLD ME 8-10 WEEKS TO GET A NEW MICROWAVE DUE TO COVID. ORDERED FROM BEST BUY, HAD IT WITHIN 2 DAYS. STELLAR BEST BUY SERVICE!!!!!

This microwave is of commendable quality. It is perfectly equipped for quick cooking and warming up leftovers. It has met all my expectations.

I love, love my new microwave. I had just bought one three months ago but replaced it with this GE slate model because I am remodeling our kitchen. The microwaves look pretty similar but in no way are they. This one is so much hotter and quicker for the final outcome. It's beautiful and it works like the bomb.

The one I had, died and was replaced with this one. The inside is approx. 1/8 to 1/4" smaller but not an issue. It works well and just like the one I had previously.

We really like the convenience and speed of this microwave. The controls are very easy to understand. The person I spoke with when ordering on line was very helpful. The website wasn't working and she was able to get our order in. They were also very helpful at the Mechanicsburg Store to help us get it loaded in the car.

After about 5 years and one major repair our old GE unit failed and was more expensive to fix than getting a new one. It's a built-in over the stove unit with a mounting bracket on the wall and a top mounted vent cut out to fit into a fixture in the cabinet above. I was very concerned that mounting a new microwave would cause all sorts of problems. I got another GE which seemed comparable to the old one and was only 1/4" taller than the old unit. I was surprised and delighted to find out that the new unit directly mounted into the old bracket and fixture with absolutely no problem whatsoever. So far the unit seems to be a good replacement for the old one.

Only have for about 1 month. So far seems to work fine, Has some nice features. Had an lg before that had an extended vent. Miss that, but no one else makes that feature and the lg kept having issues. Seems all these models get the door switch pbl, so I hope I won't see that for awhile Installed by Raymond and Isaiah. We purchased this GE over the stove microwave to replace our previous one that died after 10 years. The quality has gone down, and this model feels more flimsy. The door handle feels like the plastic might break long before the microwave stops working. I am guessing GE has found a better way to make the microwaves, with alternate materials than in the past, thus it seems "cheaper", but might be just as good. That all being said, we are happy with how it looks, and how it cooks, so it is doing what we want. I would recommend this model to others looking to replace GE microwaves, especially over the new fad of having a dial instead of numbers to push. I can only imagine the knobs breaking off, and then how do you sett the time? That was a fear I read in the reviews of the models with the knob.
