    We bought the exact same microwave with matching fridge and gas range 15 months ago and it failed. We didn't buy extra warranty. Excellent design by GE. They scammed us good. The other microwaves have about the same reliability and we were forced to buy this trash since we had to get something that matched other GE appliances.

    Great replacement for OEM unit in the house. Trim kit to make it fit the space was outrageously priced, so be sure to look at that first if you need it.

    The installation instructions leave a great deal to be desired, resulting in more holes in the wall. The heads on mounting screws strip out easily. The templates for mounting are confusing thence the extra holes and a trip to the hardware stores for more molly bolts. I am not a novice when it comes to mechanics and read through them more twice. If you can design a microwave how can’t you write clear a clear installation guide.

    I've noticed that many rental properties use GE and like the night light feature. The only thing I don't like is that the LED panel does not light up quite right, even after it was replaced.
