Our old over-the-range microwave finally gave up on us and we needed a replacement - this one fit our needs. Not top of the line, but no problems to speak of in the several weeks of use so far.
The only very minor gripe to mention is that the door itself feels a bit light and not as sturdy as you may think it should be. That hasn't created any issue though.
Paid extra for installation - perhaps a bit pricey but worth it for me as I really don't enjoy doing it.

This GE microwave is a solid little machine, especially at the price point. Best Buy did a great job on the install – me not being a handyman, I would not of tried that on my own. Looks and works great, my only slight criticism would be that the button pad requires a bit more pressure than I’m used to, and the position of where the function keys are or so different from our previous KitchenAid model that it’s taking a little time getting used to.

This is my 2nd Ge in 10 yrs. The microwave works great so far but the numbers and letters are hard to read it's to dark the picture shows a grey background but it's really black and the letters are not white. This one is quieter than my old one.

Our old microwave (GE) died and we replaced it with another GE. We were somewhat limited as we had to fit it an area with an existing backsplash. As is the case with most microwaves, the reheating of dishes is a little uneven. However, for our needs it works fine. Not to be picky, but the keypad keys are a little hard to engage. On the other hand, maybe this is a good thing to make sure you make the proper selection. We have only had the microwave a month so will report back if we have any issues.

The GE 1.9 Cu. Ft. Over-the-Range Microwave is a replacement for our previous microwave. It has a larger inner chamber which allows you room for larger dishes. It does not have all of the features our previous microwave had (less reheat options, more steps to cook options). The lighting over the range is better than our previous microwave. (Our previous microwave was a Whirlpool.)

Purchased, installed, immediate issues

After reading reviews, we were excited to purchase this unit. We did just before we went on vacation. We got back and it two about two more weeks before we could get it installed.
Once installed, it worked fine for about 2 days. Then on day 3 we noticed that, when we would open the door, place a plate of food in, and hit the numeric keypad for auto time (such as 1 for 1 minute, 2 for 2 minutes, etc) it would perform a series of clicks, and the timer would start counting down, BUT, the microwave would not turn on and start heating. Hitting the cancel button, and repeating, would produce the same result. We then discovered if we open the door and shut it once again, it would work as intended.
So, we called Best Buy, and lo and behold we were at the 31 day mark since our purchase, and we were told that was NOT in the return window for Best Buy and we now have to work with the manufacturer. So we have a brand new microwave that is already having issues.
ONE DAY outside the window, I really wish Best Buy would have made an exception ... we have been very loyal and active customers for MANY years.
So overall, I am disappointed in Best Buy as much as I am in this product. You do not spend several hundred dollars for an appliance and installation and expect to have troubles right from the start.
