The buttons require a little extra push to make work. The fan is redickulesy loud, sounds like a low flying plain on high and not much better on low. This is venting straight up and out. The display is very bright and not dimmable. If you sleep in your kitchen this may be a problem.

Item was delivered on time and installed quickly. It has performed well.The quality is excellent and price is acceptable. I am happy with this purchase.

Excellent features compared to my previous microwave

My 20+ year-old old GE microwave oven finally died in the middle of 2022, and I wanted to replace it with another GE microwave that worked basically the same way as the old one. The main reason for this is my 90-year-old mother, who would've had to re-learn how to operate a different microwave oven. Luckily, this is just a newer version of my old microwave, and is programmed the exact same way, and works just as well as the old one had for over 20 years. My only problem with this newer model is that it doesn't have a programmable automatic night light, as the old model had. But that's a minor issue. Otherwise, I'm very happy with my purchase.

So far this has been great! Installation is never fun, but it has all the features we wanted and looks great. Very happy with this microwave!!

The sales staff was excellent, specially the gentleman (sorry I forgot is name) who helped me on the floor - absolute no sales pressure, knowledgable above all great attitude. This is why we will always prefer going to a store rather than buying online.

Disappointed that microwave came without owners manual BUT, so far, have been able to figure out operation. Microwave heats well, fairly quiet. Would recommend to others.

Replaced an old Whirlpool Microwave. So far so good. Installation was pretty straight forward. Heats food with no issues. 1000watts is more than enough to heat food quickly.

Dependable. Replaced prior GE. Door seems very light, cheaper than prior model. Full functionality. Sale price was a great deal in the color we wanted.

Great. is a good choice for a busy household. It earns an Excellent rating in our heating evenness test, in which we reheat a dish of cold mashed potatoes. Speed of heating is also top-notch, and it operates quietly.

installed easily, came with good install instructions and two installers. how ever, 4 stars for now instructions on how to use it. not hard to figure out, but by not having user instructions, i feel i'm missing some features.

Love my new microwave. The slate finish hides fingerprints. It's super spacious. What we didn't love was that it doesn't come with a venting sleeve. We used the non-vent option and I think we will need to re-install with a vent sleeve. It's gorgeous, buy it.

I bought this replace the same model from 2016. Somehow 2016 model feels sturdier and higher quality. The handle on this is flimsy. It's also considerable louder than the old one. It appears GE did a lot of cost cutting measures. For example, old one had two light bulbs, this one has only one. It feels cheaper. Overall, it's pretty good but compared to the older version, quality seemed to go down.

This is a replacement of a similar GE microwave that died after about 18 months. So far this one is performing well and I like it.

Have only had it for a month but so far we like it a lot. Heats well, is not noisy, looks great and has all the features we were looking for. Installers did a great job!

We have had this for a while and it like our previous GE microwave ovens is very good. I always like the 30-second instant button! Would like to have an auto-off on the light for a time setting.

Everything works great. Dishes are clean, microwave is absolutely fantastic

My Kenmore developed a glitch, and it was easier to replace than to fix. This GE model fits the same but is slightly bigger inside. Features were comparable and this new microwave operates in all the ways we ever used a microwave. Very happy with this purchase.

Function buttons require much more pressure to engage than our previous GE microwave. They are also much harder to see due to smaller and less distinct print. This was not noticeable in the store given the lighting and height of the microwave on display. Also this microwave requires immediate use or else you get a message to put food in/open door to start cooking if you delay pushing "start." Quite annoying if you multitask and want to wait to start microwaving to coordinate with other cooking chores. Lastly, we overlooked the fact that this was not a smudge resistant stainless steel, so it's a real pain to keep it looking nice. Otherwise, it works fine. My husband liked how the door seemed substantial for the one on display, and this door is doing well, so far. Were I to do it over, I'd look for clearer button graphics and smudge resistant stainless. Why companies still produce smudgy stainless is beyond my comprehension.
