the microwave and trim kit went together easily and fit nicely back into the space from the old unit. The features on the new microwave are what I expected.,

After reading reviews, we were excited to purchase this unit. We did just before we went on vacation. We got back and it two about two more weeks before we could get it installed. Once installed, it worked fine for about 2 days. Then on day 3 we noticed that, when we would open the door, place a plate of food in, and hit the numeric keypad for auto time (such as 1 for 1 minute, 2 for 2 minutes, etc) it would perform a series of clicks, and the timer would start counting down, BUT, the microwave would not turn on and start heating. Hitting the cancel button, and repeating, would produce the same result. We then discovered if we open the door and shut it once again, it would work as intended. So, we called Best Buy, and lo and behold we were at the 31 day mark since our purchase, and we were told that was NOT in the return window for Best Buy and we now have to work with the manufacturer. So we have a brand new microwave that is already having issues. ONE DAY outside the window, I really wish Best Buy would have made an exception ... we have been very loyal and active customers for MANY years. So overall, I am disappointed in Best Buy as much as I am in this product. You do not spend several hundred dollars for an appliance and installation and expect to have troubles right from the start.

Very universal and stylist! Easy to use. Instruction easy and managable

I installed this a few weeks ago and it works well. Installation was difficult because I did it myself (not recommended but I live in a remote area) and because I needed to modify the surrounding cabinet and ductwork. I didn't find the paper mounting templates useful and used a t-square instead. The first unit I bought was missing one of the internal, upper mounting nuts, so I had to exchange it, which was a big hassle, but Best Buy did it quickly without a problem once I got the defective unit back to them. Otherwise, all needed mounting hardware was present and the directions were clear. The unit heats food quickly. I bought this model primarily for the 400 cfm fan, which is rated higher than comparably-priced models. The fan works well and has multiple settings, but I would like an even more powerful one because I cook a lot. The fan is a bit loud, but quieter than my prior unit. I haven't tried the more elaborate reheating and butter melting settings yet. The unit looks good and seems solidly built, but time will tell.

For the money this was worth it. Although I was a little surprised how not solid it was. Let me explain. The door was rather flimsy compared to my last GE. When shutting it sounded chensy if that makes sense.

This is a large over-the-stove microwave. It is an attractive addition to my kitchen. It is easy to use and easy to clean.

Sleek, attractive, user friendly, reliable. This is our second GE microwave. The first one withstood 17 years of heavy usage. Best Buy delivery and installation arrived as scheduled, removed our old microwave, installed the new one, and checked to be sure it was working properly. I highly recommend the microwave and the Best Buy installation.

Enjoying it. Mounted above our new oven. Works great. Note - Power seems slightly less than our 10yr old cheaper microwave we replaced it with. Not an issue we can just heat longer, but we do notice a difference. We often do scrambled eggs in a little ceramic bowl (45 seconds, stir, 45 sec), and they're not quite as done as before and need an extra 30s or so. So that's the difference - not huge, but noticeable.

Nice clear instructions for a good start on getting my oven installed. The template for making mounting and vent holes was a bit complicated and difficult to use in my instance because of the bottom of my overhead cabinet was recessed. I like the one touch operation which is required for many heating needs. There are also a lot of preprogrammed, integrated control features for common cooking scenarios.

Great product at a good price. This product is great for cooking all types of food and also warming leftovers up.

I did my homework and, for the money, these GE’s perform well. And it fit the space my other GE left just perfectly with the expensive trim kit. Now I ask you, why should a simple sheet metal trim kit cost nearly $100 more than the microwave itself?

The microwave was exactly what I expected and needed. It replaced one that I had for eleven years. I purchased the same brand in hopes that it would fit without any problems, which it did. I paid for installation which went flawlessly. The installers were right on time, friendly, and professional. Because they could use the same installation bracket, it took very little time to install. Overall, everything went smoothly, and I love the microwave.

Love the microwave. Too bad that for the price I paid they couldn't include an instruction book. Started looking for one on the internet and they wanted to charge for it. Finally found someone who told me where to download one for free.

I had to get a new microwave do to a broken door on my other one. The problem I had was my other one was a 36" over the range. So I needed one that would fill that space and this was one that would work along with the filler pieces that you could get. But so far so good and it is the same as the other one just not as powerful as this one is 1000 watts and my other one was 1100 watts. And believe it or not it does show when you use it. But over all I like it and it was equal to the others on the market.

Other than the fact it came with a dent in it, it fits and looks very nice.
