The input electrical is 1580W which is different that microwave wattage. I checked the GE web site to verify that the microwave wattage is 1000W. Not sure it is worth the price.

Posted .We would like to clarify some information regarding the microwave wattage for this model. This model has a 1000 Watts (IEC-705 test procedure) when microwaving. It also has a power rating or electrical requirement of 1580 Watts.

These are not and are very hard to read. We ordered this so never saw it or heard it before it was installed. While I would probably by a different GE microwave, not this one

But don't worry, you can have Best Buy come out and diagnose for $103 if you have their worthless Total Care. That of course doesn't include parts and labor.
