Good: - Ample freezer space - Cooled to temperature quickly - Well-built - Looks good Bad: - Fridge space is limited; realistically needs to be about 4-6" taller - Vegetable drawer gets too cold - The temperature control mechanism is a little over-engineered Most of this review will sound negative, but I actually like the fridge a lot; it's just that there are some minor (but irritating) issues that keep it from being an excellent fridge (which is a weird sentence to find one's self writing). Overall, we're happy with the fridge. It's a substantial improvement on the one we had previously (a Summit something-or-other that had been pretty mediocre even before it self-converted from combo fridge/freezer to combo fridge/fridge). There's a lot of space in the door storage areas. It cools really quickly once it's plugged in. The drawers are pretty deep and hold a lot. The two-drawer freezer alignment is great if you like to store or prepare a lot of food long-term (as we do). However, the space in the refrigerator portion of the appliance is fairly limited. This issue is compounded by the top shelf in particular, which can fold half-way away, but has too low of a clearance to store large objects effectively. For example, a fairly standard Britta pitcher cannot fit below the top shelf, so it has to sit in front of it (taking up about half of what large-object space there is). You can remove that shelf entirely, obviously, but then you have a lot of unused air space at the top of the fridge (and there's not an incredible amount of useable space to begin with). Ideally, GE would make future models/legacy models about 4-6 inches taller, in order to provide a tall-object storage level in addition to the top shelf. In addition, the temperature controls are too clever by half. There's a touch display on the front of the fridge door, and where you press on it determines what setting you're adjusting. The unbroken string of swearing I heard coming from the kitchen one afternoon suggested to me that these were not self-explanatory for anyone who hadn't been around during installation. It seems like the goal for this part of the fridge was less about simplicity and ease of use and more about figuring out how to give the fridge a sleek, one-button control system. That said though, it's a well-made fridge that works well. I'm happy with it, despite some of the Tetris-y challenges of putting away all of the week's groceries.

I highly recommend this fridge. Holds much more than it looks to, great freezer section and a space saver in the kitchen. Looks beautiful. It is not very deep which is nice for those of us who do not want a fridge sticking way out into the kitchen.

Interior light went out day of delivery. BB sent someone to check/fix. Same problem on that same day. GE repairman comes, says some wires are "pinched", magnet for top interior door panel missing. Asks if I had a magnet he could use. 2 days later I find the GE magnet behind a box of butter on door shelf. Likely fell when GE repairman opened panel. Door won't close now without some "persuasion". Open-door-alarm isn't working. Very disappointed w/product and service from both Best Buy and GE.

This refrigerator fits perfectly in such a tight space. The look is better than I thought it would be. Sleek and stylish!

Wow, this refrigerator by far looks very classy and gives my kitchen an updated sparkle. The design is extremely sleek and is perfect in the space area. My sons and I love our new refrigerator and inside looks amazing.

This is the perfect answer to finding a small, yet usable refrigerator/freezer in our greatroom at our beach house. We needed something in addition to the main house fridge on the main level, and this is perfect for drinks and snacks on the second floor living area.
