    Bought this little fridge as a back up in our garage for the holidays. Nice little fridge but I’m noticing that even at its coldest setting it only gets to 40 degrees. For proper food storage it should be between 36-37. Doesn’t seem like a big difference but for food to keep it well it needs to be less than 40. I’m concerned since it is winter here in Texas and cool but our garage will get HOT in the summer months. Not convinced it will do well in that environment.

    We bought this fridge because the big one we ordered won’t be in for a month and a half.. So far it’s working like a champ!

    I was very disappointed in my delivery yesterday, They called me and said they would be there in 22 minutes and they didn’t show up until 55 minutes later. Next the two guy that delivered it said it won’t fit in the door, once they got it inside they said it wouldn’t fit in the kitchen. Overall my neighbor installed it because the delivery guys couldn’t do their job. The older guy was doing his part the problem was the black skinny guy couldn’t lift the refrigerator and that’s why they were having problem’s it was like he didn’t want to do it. I guess this is what you get with 3rd party delivery is all about. Also they told there was no paperwork for the merchandise witch is hard to believe. I’m not very happy with the delivery…

    GE Fridge may not be functioning properly

    Right now a little concerned if this unit is still functioning correctly after 3 weeks. Refrigerator compartment was at recommended 3 but didn't cool enough. Moved to 4 2 weeks ago which worked, however now it seems in the same state as before. I reset it to 5 max cold this morning. I'll have to wait to see what happens before I request a replacement.

    BestBuy - not a Best Buy

    Pretty disappointing. Our main fridge gave up on us so we wanted fridge for backup while it is being repaired. We trusted BestBuy and ordered an open box - excellent condition GE fridge from BestBuy Milpitas,CA. I don't have a pick up truck. So rented one truck for couple hrs, rented a dolly from Home Depot and went to the store. In rush to get home (since rent was hourly), asked the associate if there is any issue, they said it is excellent condition. I loaded the unit on the truck and came home. Upon installing the fridge, after 12 hrs, fridge is not cooling and also noticed dents and scratches on the door. Now we are back to square one with a defective, dented fridge and lost time & money on rental.

    They didn't level the refrigerator so the doors won't close without being pushed shut. The guys were great, but I wish they'd leveled the frig before they left.

    Arrived preset. Just had to plug in. Has even temp throughout fridge @ freezer.

    a week before the warranty ran out we started loosing freon gas and now we wount get parts until Jan 2021. This was the middle of Nov 2020.

    Stopped working after a month and did not buy the warranty so now I’m stuck paying a fridge that i only used a month!! Very disappointed at best buy!!

    Do NOT buy this model. I bought this for my mother in law in October 2020 and it stopped cooling in January 2021. Unfortunately I didn't get the Geek Squad warranty because it has factory warranty and now I'm stuck with GE giving us the run around. I put in a service request in February 2021 and it is now 29 March 2021 and GE has rescheduled repair 3 times now. Today they called to reschedule repair service again to 16 April 2021. This refrigerator has been nothing but a headache. Do NOT buy.

    Super loud after 6 months. GE Repair said they fixed it but, didn't. Never buying GE again...

    Stopped working after a year and half of use. The condenser stopped working. No wonder their warranty is only for a year.

    When we made the original purchase, the refrigerator was allegedly in the warehouse & a deliver time was set. When the deliver didn't occur, I was told that there would be a delay, the fridge would arrive @ the local store in five days & an additional would be needed for setup prior to delivery. When that date arrived I was told the delivery maybe in two months. I canceled the order.

    After 29 days of purchase I have to put my stuffs in a cooler because the refrigerator just stop culling and the manufacturer gave me an appointment for service in 10 days.
