I’d like to give this microwave 4 stars maybe… it was meant to replace the GE Profile that lasted a good long time- it actually still worked well but the interior was rusting in various places. It also wasn’t venting well so moisture all over when cooking stopped. Anyway, this one- looks almost exactly like the Profile, loved that. Curved interior, also a plus. However, it just seems tinny, just less quality. The door is lightweight, kind of flimsy. Small dent on the right front edge. Not surprising since the box was banged up. Tiny chip (or is it a miss in the coating?) on the interior lower front face. Overall, ok for the price. I’d have gladly paid more for more quality. I fell for a pretty face.

Replaced same model, same mfg., with same microwave; six year newer model. New microwave is of a lesser quality! Should have kept the six year old appliance.

Doesn’t have enough pre programmed buttons. The button to turn off beeps is a plus

Bought May 2023. Delivered June 2023. No power Nov 2023. Currently working through instructions for GE reimbursement. Reimbursement good for another GE model of equal or lesser value than current one. GE customer service has been quick and helpful. No event or anything before it stopped working. We checked the outlet and electrical box, etc to see if the issue was on our end. Everything on our end checked out fine. Prior to when it stopped working, it was a good unit. Would recommend if you are fortunate to receive one with more longevity.

We use it in our office and it works great for our employees.

Replacing Avery similar microwave that GE discontinued. No where near the quality. The push button to open the oven doesn’t work half the time. Considering taking this back. Too bad the older microwave was very nice and lasted for 12 years.

Buttons hard to push doesn't have a hold warm feature. If your defrosting dont walk away from it requires full attention.

We previously had this microwave for a couple years until the magnetron inside started randomly sparking and popping very loudly. It occurred while heating up water in a pyrex measuring cup (no metal involved). Realizing the microwave was toast, we foolishly bought the same microwave again thinking this was a fluke incident - it was not. After a year of use, the same thing started happening again. Highly disappointed in the longevity of this product. Please go with a different brand if you want your microwave to last more than a two years.

Avoid this microwave like the plague. Purchased this microwave online. The quality of this GE unit is a joke. The stainless strip on the bottom of the door didn't fit properly. A week after I started using the microwave I noticed cracks forming inside of the unit where the walls meet the floor. I returned it to Best Buy and exchanged it for a Sharp Carousel microwave. So far there has been no problems with the Sharp and the overall quality is much better than the GE.

It's a hassle to turn on the timer and select how long you want it to run. Sometimes you have to keep punching before it registers.

I thought this microwave was ok. Nothing really great or terrible about it. However, after just two years of pretty gentle treatment it has failed and I understand that this model cannot be repaired and there are no parts for it. If you consider two years to be a reasonable lifetime for a microwave, you'll probably be happy with it. I am not.

bought last Nov door didn't close properly. Worked ok but two days ago started grinding noise. Just a little over a year old. Going to the recycle. Big sad face.

Purchased microwave in August of 2018, loved it until today when it stopped heating. No warning signs, just stopped getting hot. A two hundred dollar microwave should last more than three years, Especially with just two adults in the home. We rarely used it.
