OUR LAST GE microwave lasted over 20 years and was still working when we replaced it with this unit. Our last micro was a little smaller and was the only reason we replaced it.

But only four stars rather than 5 because of two minor issues: Has a hallow tin sound when the door closes, compared to the more solid sound of the microwave it replaced. GE does not have a “trim kit” to install this as a built-in, as was the microwave it replaced. I had to customize the installation myself because no one from Best Buy or GE were any help at all! Even though I have Geek Squad tech support!

Works well no issue. Cleans up easy. Very powerful. Regularly cook items for less than recommended time on the food box.

I liked the price, but since we use the microwave alot, I wanted something that was smoother. After a few weeks, we returned, it was just not worth it
