OK product bad customer service

But the freezer has visible frost which hasn't happened to any refrigerator I have had since the 1980s. The water dispenser has a design flaw so that it continues to drop water after you stop dispensing, so there is a little puddle of water in the base if you fill multiple glasses of water. One star is for the terrible GE customer service. The water dispenser slowed to a trickle about 10 days after installation. When we contacted GE customer service the rep claimed they wouldn't replaced it because the purchase date was 32 days prior. Well the refrigerator was not delivered by Best Buy till 2 days after purchase! Apparently this argument was beyond the unhappy rep's understanding. I regret not getting a Samsung refrigerator like I previously had which was just so much better in every way. Oh well lesson learned and not again.

This one may not last a year. Less internal space than the one it replaced. Questionable as to how it holds its temperature in both fridge and freezer. We have frequently found the temperature higher than what it was set for.

The refrigerator and freezer compartments should contain a reasonable food load to help maintain internal temperature. You may notice the "actual" temperature is a degree or two warmer than your "set" temperature if either door has been opened recently or if the refrigerator has just completed a defrost cycle. Now that we have resolved the first 2 the fridge is doing ok. The floors cannot be repaired, boards will have to be replaced.

We bought this refrigerator and waited 3 months for delivery. The water and ice dispenser has never worked properly. We are now told we will have to wait 2months for the replacement parts. Also, the temperature in the refrigerator and freezer areas has been erratic.
