We wanted a refrigerator that didn't stick out into the room. Because of the lack of physical size of course there is less capacity. We went from an old Whirlpool with 25 Cu. Ft. to this one with 21.8 Cu. Ft. For me and my wife that is fine, but I do not think this fridge would be large enough for a family of four. Works for us but its freezer capacity is rather small. Ice and water dispenser work great, no drips or leaks and the lights and controls work good too. Shelving is convenient with many height options. This fridge is quieter than our old one. Once after first installed it made an annoying sound when the freezer was cooling down. We noticed that there was some frost on the inside of the freezer so we turned the temperature from 0 degrees to 3. The frost went away and have never heard the sound again. We have had this fridge for a couple months and so far so good. We like this fridge.

This fridge is a great buy. Although it did not come with the materials needed to install it (could just have been the water fitting in my house), the installation was quick and easy. The interior lights are super bright and the water/ice maker works perfectly. There is PLENTY of room in both the fridge and freezer. I recommend this product.

Very nice design with great features. Our LG died on a Sunday, went online and purchased this, got delivered the following Friday. Delivery guys were great, took old out and brought new in (small fee paid when purchased). Very nice to have an ice dispenser again! Just two of us at home now, plenty big for us.

I recently purchased a new Stainless Steel GE Profile Side by Side Refrigerator from Pacific Sales, owned by Best Buy. The Memorial Day sales were a great incentive. The sales rep Ryan McElroy was a huge help. This new unit replaces a 20 year old GE Fridge and the upgraded quality is wonderful. It also fit the space we had which was important. We are very pleased with the new refrigerator and would definitely buy it again. Best Buy installed it and hauled away the old Fridge. Well done BB

Much noisier than any fridge I ever owned! Will try to attach sound files, if allowed by site, made with smart-phone with just the onboard mic. The GE manual describes 4 noises you might hear one of which is called “Whir” and shows a fan blade. It says you may hear this when you’ve added a lot of food or had the doors open a lot. Mine does without these events at completely random times, for 3 to 5 minutes. I have a great room and when I’m in my recliner 13 feet away and it does this I have to turn the TV sound from 35 to 90 and I can still hear it. I can hear it 35 feet away in the front bedroom I use for an office. When it does this it also coats he shelves and food with ice crystals like you see on a car windshield in winter. Just Bizarre. Will add pics if site allows. Also the doors make a “sproing” sound when opened that the display units do not do. Kind of like a piece of metal catches and then springs loose as the doors are opened. Should have stuck with Whirpool whose fridges were always very very quiet.

Great refrigerator! The water/ice maker works well. A little noisy, but it really delivers the ice! We chose this double door style to give bad backs a break getting out frozen foods. The finish does clean up finger prints nicely. It has three drawers on the fridge side which other brands didn’t. I’m very pleased overall.

Good quality refrigerator that fits well in my kitchen. Easy to clean with stainless exterior and lots of shelf spaces, I would recommend it

The fridge is great. It arrived on time with no damage. It came in its box and with protection. It is quiet. There is a lot of room inside. I love and prefer side-by-side fridges over others. The Best Buy associate and deliverymen were patient, nice, caring, and understanding. The fridge gets cold fast and is a joy to look at. It's tall.

We had looked at a lot of fridges, but this one was in our price range and was a large enough capacity without being too big for our small kitchen. So far, I couldn’t be happier with it. There seems to be a lot of room (more than I expected) in the refrigerator part and adequate freezer space. Refrigerators have gotten SO expensive, so getting one that seems to be good quality and affordable made us very happy!

I spent a lot of time trying to determine which product best suited my needs. After reading the reviews on several models, I could not justify the extra expense for the relatively few bells and whistles. This refrigerator ended up being the perfect fit. There is so much space, the ice maker is fast, and the appliances is quiet.

Not hooked up for ice and water yet but good so far. Not sure how to level this model.

Very nice counter-depth fridge. Love the water dispenser and ice maker.

Brand new purchase, less than one month old, and the ice maker is not functioning correctly. It keeps overfilling and clogging up the bin. Additionally, the on/off switch for the ice maker is missing, so I cannot turn off, have to keep emptying the bin every few days so as to not over fill. Geek Squad was no help, just told me to call GE as it is under warranty. Waiting to get this "new" fridge repaired. Also, delivery through Best Buy was not the best. It is off balance, and wobbles around, they left without checking that. I have also called Geek Squad, and was told that GE can take care of that as well. We shall see. I would avoid this product, and avoid Geek Squad coverage, not really worth the price as they do nothing to help when you need it. The fridge looks great, but definitely not worth the money and the hassle, still trying to also find if I can return or exchange.

Is excellent for small places . It is compact althought perphaps not big enough for a big family . The counter depth is really made a different for me

So far so good with this refrigerator. I like how it fits in my new kitchen being that it is a counter depth refrigerator. Both compartments are really spacious inside. I would recommend this refrigerator to anyone.

Have only had this refrigerator for a month but so far it has been good. Keeps the food cold and frosty.

We are very happy with our new GE refrigerator! This refrigerator replaces our old GE refrigerator which we had for 14 years. Our new refrigerator is very quiet and it seems to be very well-made hopefully it lasts another 14 years? We highly recommend this GE model!

Very quiet refrigerator! Lots of space in the main refrigerator area and good freezer capacity.

Simple, spacious and the doors are sure to close! There is a little extra force the refrigerator has when the doors close and I know this may seem silly but with kids, this is worth the purchase! This is a wonderful refrigerator!
