Loved it more in person even. Bigger than what I assumed it would be. Works like a champ, pretty quiet. Love it.

I purchased this May 8, 2025 and had it installed June 2, 2025. I purchased 2 units, one for the kitchen and one for the garage as the Best Buy rep recommended this as a great unit. Fast forward to Jan 2026, and the unit in the kitchen is leaking high volumes of coolant, which is highly toxic for my family, kids, and dog. The negative reviews on the door sealant having issues is also accurate, as we do need to monitor the freezer door of the garage unit to make sure it's closing properly. I went to Best Buy and because I didn't purchase the extended protection (I thought GE was a great brand), it's not in warranty and I have to try calling GE on Monday. This is completely unacceptable, its the weekend and I need to see if a local appliance repair place can help.

So far this fridge is serving its purpose. This purchase was worth it. It was exactly what my mother wanted. She didn't want anything fancy. For a simple fridge this is an ideal fit.

Now close to 2 years old and is setting in my Garage at temperatures running in the 90s all summer, and it keeps temperature both in the Freezer and Refrigerator well… Good Fixture…

I think this is a great garage fridge. I did notice several complaints about noise, but for a garage ready fridge I would expect that as the cooling fans need to work harder than if it was indoors. My only complaint are the shelves. They are glass and span the width of the fridge, and will bend under load. I make sure to put heavier items to the sides.

It is good for a small space. However I didn’t realize that it doesn’t have a light in the freezer. That was a disappointment.

Bought it for my neighbor whos fridge went out. It has worked great for her over the last 6months!

Bought for a garage, so far working great. Roomy, snug doors, doesn’t run constantly. Installers put all the shelves in upside down and backwards, but that was an easy fix.

I bought this refrigerator and filled with pop and frozen food. 2 weeks later I checked the refrigerator and all frozen food was thawed out and pop was warm. Light still working. It took about a week for it to get cold again. Unsure what happened but when GE came to look it was fine. I checked with Best Buy for a replacement when I found thawed food but their warranty is only for 15 days. I contacted Best Buy to ask for one on day 17 and told nothing they can do. Also the extended warranty you pay for doesn’t kick in until 1 year later when GE warranty expires. Very disappointed in this practice. I love Best Buy but I will not be buying anymore appliances from them.

Really great size and function. Got it for the garage fridge and the 21.9 Cu Ft really is a great size. Ease to change door handle side to fit the area best.

Love the GE lots of room runs quite. Fit in my house no problem looks great in the kitchen next to all the other GE appliances.

I love the size of my refrigerator. Would recommend this to anyone. I had a side by side before and I feel I have more room with this refrigerator.

Nice size. Not a fan of top freezers as I have to bend to get most things as I use the fridge more. I assume that's the case for most folks, which is why the fridge compartment is so much larger. Under normal conditions, they did this due to the condenser I heard, but in a garage model with independent cooling units, it shouldn't matter. Regardless, garage models only come in this one format. Ok, so it's a garage fridge I'll deal with it. Nice sized freezer without much shelving and NO LIGHT! Ya, that makes no sense. Still over $1,000 on top of it.

So far so good. Got this after really cold winter. Hoping it holds up better in our garage than the insignia it replaces. Still see fingerprints though, only bad thing

I’m so happy I bought this refrigerator. It has so much room , it’s bigger than it appears . Freezer is ice cold , very nice basic storage inside of refrigerator . Would buy again , price was right 800 ish , delivered …. Took old one away too !!

My new GE fridge is beautiful and has an insane amount of space!

The refrigerator is basic, the capacity is okay and not bad, but the build quality feels really poor for the price, and the materials it's made of are also pretty cheap

Refrigerator keeps food cold but you have to make sure you have 2" clearance from the vent in freezer and refrigerator area. if vent is blocked, the air flow will down freeze food in freezer and keep food cold in refrigerator. Then you will hearing water dropping in the back of refigerator. Also the cover to cover the motor on the back bottom of refrigerator is a cheaper plastic cover that is mounted well or is not secured where dirt and bugs and insect can get into the motor. Not sure if I would buy this refrigerator again. I pray that it will last three years.

Great refrigerator for the price range. Looks beautiful! Lots of room! Runs quiet and efficient! I recommend!
