Even on a high setting its warm, my 18yr old basement fridge is much more colder than this one. The orice is great the quality sucks

Very annoying. Take off the plastic before you assemble it!

The blue plastic is used to protect the finish, and we certainly understand your annoyance with it. You can use a razor blade to score the film around the edges so it can be removed, then remove any remaining film with tweezers.
